I didn't see this in the official Black Friday thread, so I thought I'd post this: I was able to glance at the print-out of what GameStop will be offering for Black Friday Deals, and here's what I can remember:

>Buy Two, Get One Free on ALL USED GAME AND ACCESSORIES
>SIXAXIS CONTROLLERS 50% OFF
>OFFICIAL BLU-RAY REMOTE 50% OFF
>2.0GB Wii Memory Stick for $20

...I know that the list had a lot more stuff on it, but most of it focused on getting people to buy the last-gen stuff, especially GameCube and PS2 consoles. I'll take another look at the list on Sunday, and post any other stand-out stuff.

Also, per the usual Black Friday sales at GameStop, the majority of it only last for 3-4 hours, and starts at 7AM.
Edge card does usually stack and use games are cheaper. And its MUCH better for older games. Alot of times stores like ebay games dont carry games that came out about a year ago and if they do they still want $40-$50 for them where as Gamestop is $20-$30.
If you want some older games, go to GameFly.com. It's almost always cheaper than GameStop/EB.
You can buy it today at GameStop; but, per the usual scenario, they're not getting many copies above and beyond pre-orders (my store is getting 2 extra), so get in there ASAP.
Thanks for the heads up. :D
Gamestop does most of their biz through used games. New games they make like a $5 profit on where a used game they can make 2-3x that amount. Why should they bother with new games?
that's not my point. they obviously make a ton of money by buying used games for $5 and reselling it for $45. anyways, they used to offer deals during black fridays for new sealed games that have been out for a while. oh wait, that was EB before they were swallowed up by GS...

C'mon now, you don't expect Gamestop to give up all their profit, just to suit us jaded gamers who can find better deals elsewhere most times, right?

We're what they(and many other retailers) call 'devil customers', who only buy stuff that's on sale and nothing else usually, so we're looked upon as disposable by them.

Only times to get a 'deal' @ Gamestop was when I was turning around and flipping games elsewhere for a better price, since most of the cheap crappy games they have are worth much more elsewhere in many cases.

I understand your point is that you want the deals on new games and it seems like they dont offer them anymore. My point is that when they make so little profit selling new games its hard for them to offer up deals. If you only make $5 profit a game selling at $60 and then you sell 3 games for $120.......you just lost profit.

thinking about picking up some ps2 games, blu-ray remote and the sixaxis. Was going to get the dual shock 3 but this deal is too sweet to pass up.

Thank you! I'm looking for some deals on DS games, but there are still GameCube games that I would like to pick up.

Quick question, I had heard a long time ago that gamestop would price match. Do they still do that? I'd like to get Sonic Rush for $9 on Black Friday, but the closest Circuit City is an hour away, and Walmart doesn't have it in stock. If Bestbuy shoots me down on price matching, Gamestop will be my only other option.
No, they used to PM only EB when they were seperate companies but now that both of the same prices, they don't PM at all
Darn! Well, thanks anyways.

I've already found three used Gamecube games that I want. I wish I could search a wider variety of used DS games on Gamestop's website. I know my nearest Gamestop has a ton of used DS games. I'm looking for Tetris DS specifically, but I can't even find it on their website!

Hm, with all Gamecube stock shot down to used prices, I wonder if it's a good time to splurge on gamecube with the B2G1. PS2 has a bit to go, I wonder when it'll drop into clearance territory. PS3 is still on troubled legs.

Awesome a B2G1F sale, thanks op.

Although I will not be taking advantage of this sale because my eb games and gamestop fucking sucks on used game

I'll probably use this B2G1 to fill in gaps in my X360 collection. I'm hoping this will encourage more updates to the GameStop trade-in values wiki as I'm sure people will be trading in games towards this B2G1.

Likewise, a good day to fill up gaps for the game collection. I hope it will not be crowded at EB Games (not at the mall thank goodness) and hoping for: Blazing Angels 2, Juiced 2, and The Darkness being there.

Its usually not crowded at the Gamestop's here, this is a good place to go on black friday as long as you do not get there right at opening.

Man, I get off work at 4:30 PM that day. :(

Hopefully I'll have enough money to buy a GameBoy Player for my cube and other stuff...

meh. I'm hoping for some 360 platinum hit games or older PS3 titles to be on sale for cheap. I notice they don't do the buy 2 get 1 free on used games as much as they used to.

NICE! Can't wait for B2G1! I'm going to stock up on a bunch of last gen stuff I missed out on and hopefully I will find some new current gen games used to pick up cheap! Thanks OP!

say I go and buy 3 used games today. come friday I go back and tell them to adjust the price for the buy2 get1 free? will they give me money back on the cheapest one i bought?

Good sixaxis deal. However, I already have two and I don't really have a need for a third one. Hmm...

EDIT: Ok nvm. Apparently it's the shitty third part sixaxis controller so I'll pass on that.

Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Riders and Sonic Heroes all PS2 for $10 each new? Tempting...

Hitman Trilogy for $20? DAMN tempting...

It looks like the coupon book is only available for those who buy a used phat PS2, phat PSP, xbox or gamecube AND who pay an extra $19.99 for a special bundle deal. Unless I'm misreading the BF ad info. I'll go anyway and see if they are giving them out to everyone, but won't keep my hopes up for it. Oh well.

*sigh* I was hoping for better, but there were a few decent deals in there. I can't believe a used Gamecube is only $30. Anyway, I need another Play and Charge kit for my 360 so I'm glad to see it for $10, and I've been wanting Condemned for some time now and $15 is a pretty nice price.
