Gamestop--changing preorder question

Hi,

Is it possible to move the value you have toward one preorder to another preorder? I traded in a few games toward GTA 4 to get the extra 20%, but now that Circuit City is offering the $10 gift card, I'd like to move the money toward ninja gadien 2 or something. Is this possible?--especially considering the games were traded in on a deal to get more value?

They will most likely allow you to do it but they will probably remove the extra 20% and give you the original trade in value with your edge card or what ever. I know you can cancel pre-orders and place the money back on your account at any time even if the game is already out so this shouldn't be a big deal from them if you get the right employee.

The few times I've canceled a pre-order they just gave me store credit. Everytime I made the pre-order with a special deal and I got to keep the extra credit from the deal.

You should still get the extra 20%. I reserved GTA knowing I was going to cancel and I got the extra store credit. You don't even have to preorder another game.
