Well, after the ordeal that was the used Guitar Hero for $40 via barnesandnoble.com, I did the entire return process. I was fed up enough at this point, let alone that it took 3 e-mails and over 2.5 weeks for them to give me a refund.
At this point, however, I've realized that they refund me some 43.xx, which is about 3 bucks less than 46.xx that I paid.
Is that normal? Are they taking money out to cover some sort of fee, or are they just skimming a bit for their own reasons? Is it not covering tax, shipping, or both? 3 bucks, yea, oh well. But still, seems shady. I just want to know if it's normal to not get your full amount back.
I'm not really in the mood or have the energy to go any further with their shitty service, and instead I think I'm just going to stop ordering from their online component altogether. The advent of pre-order issues and not getting bonus materials is also alarming to some extent, strengthening my resolve and mentality.
I hate the fact that GS and EB joined forces. Now we can look forward to this bullshit forever since they have little competition (in terms of used game markets).
