Gamestop.com Used Return

I'm sure this has been asked and answered already but maybe not in the same exact context.

During the B2G1 Free Sale I bought 3 used games online. I got them in the mail today but I didn't get an orginal case for Burnout Paradise. I knew this was a possibility when I ordered it but I was hoping I'd get lucky. Regardless, I'm curious if there's a way I can "return" the game and get one with an orginal case and manual in its place. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. One problem is that it didn't even come with a manual. It's one of those hideous cases with the Gamestop art with the game's title typed on it. There's 2 Gamestops on my way home so I'll give them both a shot.

you'd think with all the great bootleg cases they have circulating GS would get wise and have better looking hideous cases with the crappy game art on it.

good luck with that though.

Yeah, even if I could just get a green case for it so it'd match a bit. I can print out a bootleg one, that'd work well. Thanks for the idea.

My dog ate my Forza 2 case last year. The Mrs. printed out a new one and you can hardly tell (unless you examine it and see that it's a British cover).

I went to the Gamestop at Adams Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. They were extremely helpful and I exchanged the boxes with no trouble at all. They didn't even ask to see the receipt. Now I have a box with orginal artwork and manual :)

The manager did seem hesitant at first. He said "I don't even think we have one of those used" (It was Burnout Paradise - I'm sure they had many). The clerk working with him went and checked right away and gave it to me. I suppose their policy on good cases is a "survival of the fittest" point of view.

Thanks for everyone's help, worked out very well. I'll be ordering online on the next B2G1 Free sale now that I know I can easily exchange the cases.
