My friend works at a gamestop, i work at a eb, and we were discussing the psp today and he said that Gamestop is done taking reserves. I was wondering if any of you guys had heard anything about this? I know at ebgames were pushing HARD to get tons of reserves with no stop in site, but i guess it could be possible because my DM has been pushing for this weekend to push hard. Lets see whats going on in your Districts.

I pre-ordered my PSP 2 nights ago at EB and was told mine would be in the second shipment. I was told at 2 eb's that all the ones in our area were taking reserves for 2nd shipment as well as online. Online now says that they can not guarantee delivery at launch. I've got a reserve online and in store but am about to cancel my online since I don't have to buy a bundle in store.

I'm thinking people will cancel and or EB will get more than they think and We'll have one on launch day. If not just gives me an extra couple of days to find a cheap 1gig Memorey Stick.

from where I reserved mine they already have 100 pre orders but no cap out limitng them. Some other stores have over 600 pre-orders.

I think this will be worse. I saw a number of DS's before christmas. Even on christmas eve.(almost bought one. glad I didn't cause I got one for christmas) I don't think there'll be PSPs sitting on shelves for a good month.

Yeah, when the EB guy told me that I litteraly jumped. No joke :shock: . It took a while to sink in... I didn't think people were so well informed... other than the fact that right on the counter there were pages after pages of PSP pre-order adds lying around.
