Gamestop/EB.com has used SNES controllers in stock for $4.99

Used?...Eh, doesn't matter to me since anything before last-gen is stuck in the closet & I used my PSP for emulation these days if I need to play those classics.
 
Can't you buy these brand new on Amazon/eBay for like $8-10 shipped?

There is a Game Force by my house with about a dozen of them, all official and brand new and $4.99
 
God I need another 1st party snes controller my 3rd party one has been broken for 10+ years and unusable for the last 5.

Not a total stretch for them to be first party. Afterall, GameStop is pretty much trying to do whatever they can to dump off their inventory of stuff prior to the PS2.
 
They usually have leftovers from stores and what not.

I know of a store that still has some third party GENESIS controllers in stock.

Got mine too, also NES controllers (not dogbones either).
Maybe they don't know the difference at gamestop...

lol yeah. I got the newer SNES off ebay last year for my GF and we play it every so often.. gotta have mario all-stars and mario world.. she's a DK girl too =) the system and controllers were in great condition. plus mario paint haha

Dog bones were the controllers that were released with the NES redesign. Instead of the boxy grey rectangles we all know and love, they were boxy grey dogbones, very similar to the SNES style controllers.
 
the last thing EB/GS should do is start selling older systems. 90% of them will be busted, and it would be such a fiasco even by GS/EB standards
