Gamestop - Extra 20% credit towards XBox360

I just stopped into my local Gamestop today to find out if they had any new trade deals. Need to get some credit towards the 360.

I saw a sign that indicated that if you trade in the usual suspects (PS2, GCN, XBox - non-sports) you will get an additional 20% towards an XBox 360. Unfortunately, it doesn't stack with the discount card.

I think I'll hold out for another GI 50% extra coupon or trade 3, get an extra $10 deal. There's bound to be something before November.

most stores cut their games vaule in half when the extra 50% off coupon was there as well. I took in paper mario 2 for gamecube said (we give 22 on sign) dude goes do you have the Gamecard and when i said yes He goes we only give 14 bucks for paper mario/

im just curious how that would work...the ps2 plays ps1 cuz it has the ps1 chips or whatever built in, will the ps3 have the ps2 and ps1 chips built in?

You do realize that's not the actual size in comparison to the other systems, don't you?
 
lol do you notice the SPIDERMAN FONT they are using on the PS3??!?!?! First time I saw it I was like what??!?!? remember Sony released the spiderman movies.

Second I wonder if it will handle Castlevania:SOTN? I have read somewhere that the PS2 had problems reading SOTN for PS1.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I verywell could be, but I think emulation.

I hate that Sony is using the Spiderman movie font for the next playstation. I love the Spiderman movies, and that just makes me feel dirty and used.

Also, if you're really looking for extra credit towards a 360, do what I do. Reserve multiple copies of Nascar 2006 at EBgames. 4 Qualifying titles become 50$ trade in credit. Rumor has it I may have found a couple PO (as opposed to POX, or excluded) titles that cost between 2.99 and 7.99 (which after edge) technically cost someone $20.95. But then they trade in for 50$, and that's a pretty big turnaround. The hard part is locating the games, but once I traded them in, i just bought them back, so I could do it multiple times. I may be an employee, but I feel that anything any random customer could walk in and do is fair game for me. That's why I refuse employee discount, wouldn't want to profit on the company's dime. :D

I was wondering why they hadn't started the "world's biggest controller now on the world's fastest console" campaign! I was like "These ad wizards don't know the potential they're missing out on!" :lol:

So anyway, let's get on with the stabs at the size of these new systems, shall we? I remember when the XBox vs. VCR comparisons were the new big nerd joke, and yet nobody's complaining about how the 360 is a revolutionary 1/2" smaller than its predecessor.

Do you mean no pox titles excluded? Because I'm not sure why you'd throw exclamation points on something such as the fact they are excluding pox titles.
