Gamestop: extra 50% tradein credit starting 2/22

I don't have all the details, but a local Gamestop manager told me that starting Monday 2/22, Gamestop will offer an extra 50% on all tradeins (I think he said for preorders, but any preorder). It should stack with Edge though.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Gamestop corporate is really pushing their stores to get more preorders, and in general to get better numbers, so I'm guessing they are having a pretty tight first quarter.

I can confirm, and it's not for preorders. It's just for trades in general.

thanks, I wasn't sure about the preorder thing. I saw your post after I finished mine. For anyone not sure if it's real. I can concur that it's real. (even if I don't have the complete details : )

I'm guessing some TIVs may "fluctuate", but it's still a pretty good deal, especially since the current deal doesn't work on games under $5.
