GameStop Free Overnight Shipping on BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (PS3/360) With Preorder

Just got an email from GameStop advertising BlazBlue: Continuum Shift with this piece of info:

"Use our In-Store Pickup feature to pick up at your local store, or order online and use the coupon code: BLAZBLUE to get free overnight shipping."

I believe this will only work for pre-orders, so once the game is released this will no longer work. Personally I cannot recommend this game enough, so if you're interested in this game and for some reason can't go pick it up somewhere locally, I'd go for it. Their overnight shipping is probably faster than Amazon's free super saver shipping if that was your other option.

Bah such BS, I found out that the $10 gift card I received from buying 3D Dot Game Heroes can't be combined with this free overnight shipping coupon code. I ended up saving only like $4.50 after tax and shipping.

I hope it's normal. because that's what happened to me, too. I've been charged as well. If I don't have it by Wednesday, I'm going to be pissed.

Was yours backordered because of it? That might explain what happened with mine. I have a Persona 3 Portable pre-order and 2 Continuum Shift orders on my old card, and for some reason even though the P3P order shipped, it still displays the Junpei hat as "Backordered" on my order history. I got both a few days after it shipped.

But my Gamestop didn't transfer any of the credit I had on my old card to my Power Up one. I checked to make sure I've been charged on my old card, and I have. So I don't really know what to make of it.

I thought I remember it saying somewhere that the charge of the card only takes place after its shipped, I think. If that's true, then I suppose we can expect it to be shipped to us soon?

At least, that's what i thought it said.
 
Dang it, I used my $20 Mario galaxy credit at Amazon on this. But the only way to really make is worth it is keeping the free shipping. I expected them to have the $5.something release day shipping. This means it'll take forever that the copy to get to me. If I had some GS credit to my name I might jump on this, but I used that on a slim 360. Also I don't want to lose my Amazon credit.
 
I don't know if anyone has noticed or cares, but as of right now, both versions are showing as out-of-stock on amazon. I don't know if that is a screw-up, or they just produced that few, but I would advise if you want it, and can find it, buy it. If it truely is OOS, who knows how long a restock will take.
 
Well, went from backordered to closed and shipped, tracking says it's already arrived in my state and city. glad to see it's worked out, after being concerned all of yesterday. Still haven't gotten an email, or any other notification, but tracking is good enough for me!

Wasn't EU/UK supposed to get a SE/CE for BBCS (whenever it gets released)?

Online? Probably just another screwup in their system. When quick used copies shoed up for Ninety Nine Nights 2, I was shipped copies of the first game twice in a row, because they kept mixing up the game. This leads me to believe their computers just suck at seperating new and used copies of games with similiar names.

At the same time, they had some kinda problem with the Lego Harry Potter game, big enough that they had a phone message dedicated to telling people that they would "correct the error" and "Ship out the proper item immediately".

So one might wanna be wary.

Anywho, expecting my BBCS within the hour or so. Deliveries always seem to show up around this time.
 
Well, my Gamestop got a copy in today, and I couldn't wait. I'll just return the copy I got through this with my in-store receipt when I get it later. Still haven't gotten past the "Billing Information" stage with these orders.
