Q: Is this sale for new or used games?
A: New games only. In the past, there have been B2G1 sales on used items associated with Game Days, so keep an eye out for that.

Q: Will all of the games be "gutted" or opened?
A: YMMV. Some stores I have been to basically open everything up and dump it into the bins. Others will only open a few copies and leave the rest behind the counter. If you want a sealed copy, make sure to ask.

Q: Is this in-store or online?
A: Both.

Q: Will the store accept a print-out of the 10% off coupon?
A: YMMV.

Q: Does the coupon work for one item or the whole purchase?
A: It works on all Game Days items bought in a purchase.

Q: Is there going to be a B2G1 on used games and accessories?
A: As previously mentioned, there could possibly be one later, but as of now, nope. There is only a B2G1 on used PS2 games when you buy a new PS2 system.

Something else to point out, Gamerdays are a co-effort between GameStop and publishers isn't it? So if you want to get pissed off at the 360 selection, don't just dump it all on GameStop, poke at the publishers too.

Yeah, I really don't see this as a leak. If GameStop didn't want the information out, the pages wouldn't have gone live. And it's not like it was hard to find. Someone in the other thread simply replaced the "8" with a "9" to see if anything was up, yet.
 
I'll pickup another copy of Valkyria Chronicles for the collection if they mark it down to $30. Maybe some interest in Tomb Raider Anni, MGS Essential and a few of the UMDs. Thanks for the heads up op. So the prices probably won't be announced until the end of next week?

You don't even have to do that...if you search with the year "2009" in the search, it is the second gamestop link on the page...

Please refer to your posts within fifteen minutes of each other several pages back where you complain that a moderator needs to go through and delete everything that complains about the sale right after you posted a short but nasty reply to someone who had posted a complaint about the sale.

I have no problem with you or anyone else expressing your opinion. That's exactly what this board and the reply feature on this board is designed for. If the creator of this board or the moderators don't want discussion, it's easy enough to lock out the reply function on this board. Obviously, that would turn this into something more like Fat Wallet or Slick Deals, which is hopefully not what this board is. I also find it offensive that you grouped me in with the other "jerks" as you put it when I made no comment about GS or even the quality of this sale up until I posted the response to which you are now responding. Cheap Ass gamers might feel like dealing with a retailer that doesn't provide good TIVs or truly new games when they gut them or lend them out is something that should be factored into a discussion of the value of a particular deal. Similarly, if people choose to post responses that refer to other retailers that have the same games cheaper, they should be welcomed to do that. Those are legitimate subjects for discussion and nothing prevents you from simply skipping that part of the discussion and just waiting until the pricing comes out and updating the initial post again at that time.

I could frankly care less about the pro and con GS debate. Like most of us here, I have already made up my mind and whether or not I choose to take advantage of this sale is my own decision. I don't have any problem with people continuing to debate the issue or convince others since retailers seem to be spending more time on-line nowadays and feedback can only help all retailers improve and benefit us all as CAGs.

As I've already said a number of times, there is a difference between discussing the sale and simply trolling about how it's crap...over and over again. But enough of this, I posted it like twice among a dozen posts answering people's question, but if it makes certain users feel big to say I did it a bunch of times, good for them. I forget sometimes that it makes people feel good to threadcrap around here.

I was just going by earlier information I had heard in CAG. I figured it was hastily put together without the price cuts yet as a placeholder and not meant for people to see it live yet, as it is not available on their website through normal means on there. I would say that is a leak, not a dam leak, just a leaky faucet.

We should all bow to your superior intelligence as well as your humility and care for other members of CAG, the way you handle yourself in your posts is admirable and worthy of imitation. I had no idea what google and what the device that magically puts these words for me on the screen by itself was. For I am only some 7th grade student and I am always wrong and you're always right. Time to send me to the office and fap until I get back.

Nothing great for a 360 fan...but I heard there's going to be a 2 for 1 sale, is that true?

I'll probably get the MGS Essential, especially if it's $20 or less.

Could be due to DSi launch or maybe they just want to see how it will do in different timeframe. Maybe they also think that they make more money when the B2G1 is separate from gamedays and maybe the next B2G1 will be in early June.

god i feel like this web site gets more and more like junior high everyday. cheapy d should just give everybody a pacifier. so many whiney asses. in my opion some hate gs some like gs. who gives a crap. the list is what the list is.
if you dont like the list start a thread in the deals/shopping forum. even if you do like the list go there too. sorry for the rant but it has gotten worse at this web site for the last six months

I fully stand behind my opinion that VC is Bomfy's Game of the Year for 08, was Fallout 3 until I got VC. I actually found out about it on my own and had no one tell me about it first. It may not be a system seller for some, but I have found a couple people that have had it be. Just remember some fanboys are actually fanboys not just because they need to feel like they are included in some group. :)

There might be early openings since it's the same day as the DSi's release. They did do it for Pokemon Platinum. GS.com would have that up by mid-week if it were to happen.

Does anyone expect a significant discount on Chrono Trigger? It's like $40 right now. Hopefully it drops to like $20-25, but maybe I'm expecting too much.
