Yeah...still no list, BUT

CAGs have been mentioning lists received by stores and new price markings taking place. Its all a matter of us drilling employees for info or attaining the list.

Just noticed the Game days sale ad in the latest game informer. Last year's sale was pretty decent so its worth a thread. I'll try to post the ad and coupon later. Best part is the coupon doesn't say anything about being void if copied. No specifics yet on the sale.

Things to note:

No real RPG's for the Wii, Xbox 360, or PS2. In fact, most the games on this list are not very good. Crap...

The closest thing is Odin Sphere. I might get it, but I have too many games already (just bought Persona 3 FES). Has anyone played Odin? What are the RPG elements that it supposedly has?

Thanks MightyHealthy, it looks like I might have to make the 30 second walk to my gamestop to pick it up. If I can get my Edge card and that 10% off coupon that has been floating around to work for me too, it will only be 16 bucks plus tax.

If you're planning on playing it on PS3 then check the BC for your version - some of them won't play Katamari correctly (or so my friend who borrowed Katamari from me told me).
 
meh, odin sphere is the best deal of the bunch and i already bought it... i'd probably consider house of the dead w/ the 10% off coupon...
 
Nothing too exciting for me in the PS2 or DS lists (only systems I have from the list). I would have picked up Katamari if I didn't already have it. It's just as well, though. I've already spent too much from previous coupons/sales.
 
Kinda small listing of games, old or otherwise for an advertised sale :cry:

I was partially expecting every game that is a Launch Title and "Target/k-mart Clearnaced"
 
I'm in for C&C (360) and Godfather (360). I owned C&C but traded it in last year before beating it. Great game, for an RTS console game.

If I still had my PSP, I'd pick up a few things too...

Man I shouldn't have sold that...
 
for the people defending the 360 pricing (i.e. C&C for 20!!)... Viking & Condemned have been 30 new for almost a month at GS, the rest of the 360 games have sold for that price and cheaper used for a month+ as well
 
Might jump on Soul Calibur 3 for $9.99...

Never got around to picking that one up, and it will get me back in the groove for SC4.
 
I'm digging the PC list alittle, but there is nothing that screams awesome that I couldn't get for a better price elsewhere. Thank God for the coupon in the Game Informer :)
 
Man I sure hope my GS is gonna get some stock for this sale. I haven't seen 80% of this list at my GS. Especially the PSP and DS games.

I'd kill for Monster Hunter 2.

Yes, were aware at SD he did that, but theres nothing I can do right now.

I credited freakyzeek with the coupon post, however the op in usual sd fashion didnt give credit where it was due.

I'm in for HotD 2&3...my Perfect Shots need more love than Ghost Squad.

A couple of the PSP titles looked interesting. MK: Deception and depending on which Harvest Moon it is (hopefully Boy & Girl) I'd bite.

Then again, my wallet will just be full of dust if Amazon keeps hitting their 360 deals on all cylinders like they have today...:roll:
 
As expected, nothing mind-blowing but some decent pick-ups if you haven't nabbed them on special yet.

Disappointed to see no trade-in deals. If gas wasn't so expensive I'd take a trip to Windsor with a trade-in bundle ready to go.

Last year the majority of the games featured during the Game Days sale were indeed new, but I found that many of the copies were gutted. So it will probably be hit or miss this time, some new/sealed and some new/gutted. A GS employee said that most of this stuff is excess stock that isn't available at the stores any longer, and has been shipped to them from the local warehouses.

Not much for me there, but I might pick up House of the Dead.

I do suggest to anyone that is in for Odin Sphere or any of the other games, to show up on day 1 of the sale. I know the castlevania double pack from last year sold out quickly in alot of areas and people couldn't find them. So if you have your eye on Odin Sphere go get it on June 2.

This list isnt what I expected...then again last yr I was collecting so I bought alot of crap that I shouldn't have....now that I'm selective the only system I saw decent deals on was the psp...I'll probably pick up Valhalla Knights (have to see for myself if its as hard/bad as reviewed),SFA3M,Crazy Taxi (any chance I can PM is at CC and use that $5 coupon??) and maybe MH2 (any online play? If not,is the single player as boring and hard as the one on ps2?)
 
somehow im kinda relieved that the listing is so bad i can save a bunch on money =D, although
odin sphere at 20 would be great
 
the only thing of interest for me on any of the lists is Katamari Damacy and maybe Worms for DS. I'll probably end up buying those 2 if i can get sealed copies. If not, then it's a no go for me.
