I decided to go to gamestop to buy Battallion wars and Fire emblem: POR for the cube with the 30% off coupon + Edge. The guy charged me a total of $25.31 for both (after promotions) so i pay the guy and then looks for the games in the drawers. He is able to find battalion wars but not fire emblem so he tells me he has to give me a return on radiance and im "allright cool". So he makes the refund for the game he is suppose to give me $17.99 + tax for the game (since promotions were used) but instead gives me the full retail price + tax in a total of $32.46, I was like "wtf" i didn't say it out loud of course and since they had me waiting for a while because they did look for fire emblem but couldn't find it they gave me the full case with manual (pretty good condition). In conclusion, i got Battalion wars (complete) + Fire Emblem Path of RAdiance case and manual in pristine condition + $7 net gain out the door LOL (i didn't spend a single dollar)! You could tell that the clerk was pretty new since he had no idea wtf he was doing.
 
Good going. So you noticed the error in the store and didn't mention it? Don't be surprised if that new clerk isn't there the next time you go in, since YOU probably got him fired for his drawer being short at the end of his shift.
 
The same kind of thign happened to me, but I didn't notice till I got home. I returned Condemned 2 that I bought during Gamedays and the clerk gave me $63.XX instead of $3X.XX.

Not my fault. He forgot to apply the promos back on the return.

It doesn't sound like the drawer would be short since he paid out what im sure the computer said to - just a weird looking transaction if you looked at them
 
See, I would have said something if I had noticed it in the store. If I were to go back today and say something, I would probably get some weird looks, nor do I have proof they overpaid me.

You knew that it was a mistake, and knew that the clerk was new, so instead of giving him a break, you decided to allow him to continue with what he was doing, even though you realized he made a mistake.
 
do we seriously have to see these every 3 days? i mean come on people this isn't a freaking deal and you shouldn't be bragging that you got such an awesome "score", are you really so proud to be a dishonest person i mean you knew they were giving you the wrong amount of change and you still said nothing, and not only that but you are so very proud of yourself. I also hate everyone that says "oh well its the cashiers fault", grow up people! everyone makes mistakes, he should have given that guy a break. now can all of this clogging up the bragging section with all of your "awesome scores" please stop?
