interested in asterix.
Whoops that was a Pokemon Silver, not Crystal. Still got it for $3.
$3, ack! :p

You should invest in an Edge card, especially if you are buying much from this sale... it's the difference between 75% off and 85% off - that really adds up!
do you have an extra tilt n tumble????
I got an extra penguin...I pm'ed you...let's work out a deal.

Thanks Penguin, got the games. All were excellent. Just upgraded my copies of Super Mario Land 2, Zelda DX, Zelda Oracle of Seasons, and Dragon Warrior 3...

Going to throw my other copies on the trade list.

Oh and I finished the first set of GBA DS cases, 20 in all. I figure I'll just leave the manuals in the original boxes in storage.

Here's what I've got done so far:

Zelda Classic
Zelda 2 Classic
Zelda Link to the Past/4 Swords
Zelda Minish Cap
Final Fantasy 1 + 2
Final Fantasy 4
Final Fantasy 5
Final Fantasy 6
Final Fantasy Tactics
Phantasy Star Collection
Shining Force
Shining Soul
Shining Soul 2
Tactics Ogre
Fire Emblem
FIre Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Golden Sun
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire 2

I've got another 50 or so GBA cases to make, along with at least 150 GB/GBC. Then, on to NES, SNES, and Genesis. I think I'll just pull everything out of the original boxes as far as those are concerned, again leaving the manuals, maps etc. in the original boxes, and just putting the carts into the universal game cases. I'll probably need at least 300 there...

I still have these to trade:
Gargoyles Quest
Gobs of Games
Killer Instinct
The Lion King Simba's Mighty Adventure
Motocross Maniacs
Mr. Chin's Gourmet Paradise
Snoopy's Magic Show
TMNT Fall of the Footclan
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Yoshi
Replacement screens for Game Boy Color (New, authentic Nintendo ones, not 3rd party)
I also have a bunch of other games that I'd trade only for Mega Man IV

I'm looking for:
Castlevania 2 Belmont's Revenge*
Galaga/Galaxian*
Mega Man IV (If you have this, I'm willing to trade from my collection to get it. Just let me know what you're looking for.)
Nail n Scale
Ninja Boy
Ninja Boy 2
Operation C
Rolan's Curse 2
Tecmo Bowl
Zelda Link's Awakening (original, not DX)*

*Games with a * must be in very good condition

I'll also check list. I'm mostly interested in original games, not color ones.

Well, I actually just finished casing my SNES/Genesis games. I highly suggest not even bothering with the NES games. You have to cut out almost all of the inside pieces to get them in. In my case, I'd have to do that for 80 games... not worth it. But the genesis/SNES look great.

Once my next shipment of DS cases come in the mail, I'll be able to finish casing the GB/GBC games that have covers on thecoverproject and I'll take some pics of everything.

They really look great.

I checked a few stores in the Frisco, TX area with no luck. Seems they sent all their stock to Oklahoma. not sure why Oklahoma, but no luck for me.

So for the guys who started casing their games, how much did Nintendo charge you for shipping on the DS cases? I want to get some, but I am trying to figure out whether to start there or with the Universal slim casings. On a budget, you know how that goes.

Here's what I have for trade. LMK what u have...looking for anything I dont already have. Thanks

GB
Contra Alien Wars
F1 Race
Game & Watch Gallery
Jungle Book
Paperboy
Revenge of Gator
Spider-Man 2

Thanks for letting me know! I really don't want to deal with the NES games then, since it would be at least 300 for me (about 100 are complete though)...unless it's just a few little pegs I have to cut out...I haven't seen these UGC cases yet, too lazy to look them up.

I ended up picking up about a dozen GBA games at a couple of Gamestops over the long weekend, some of the harder to find and cheap games, all less than $5 before the 10% off used coupon plus additional Edge some highlights I can remember were Klonoa 1 and 2, Gradius Galaxy, Revenge of Shinobi, Car Battler Joe, a bunch of other stuff - oh yeah, I also picked up 2 copies of Medabots AX Metabee version, because according to videogamepricecharts the game is pretty valuable...no idea how or why, but it is a Natsume game. Anyone have any clue about this? I think I'm only missing about 10 or so GBA games on my "must have" list at this point, and 95% of them are complete.

A clerk at one of the stores indicated they were going to start clearancing/phasing out GBA games around the same time as XBox games, though this was no doubt just smoke this clerk was trying to blow up my ass, so take it with a huge grain of salt. Clerk said it would be starting at the end of the month or into early March.

Just be ready.

Oh and I picked up the last copy of NCAA College Basketball 2K3 for Gamecube in LA. Disc only, but the disc is in nice shape. Going to sell that sucker as soon as I print out a new case insert and get a Gamecube case for it - it was in a PS2 case, for fuck's sake. And another couple copies of Wii Sports, which they raised to $15 ($12 after the 10% plus EDGE) for reselling.

Metabots isn't too rare. I bought a set and threw them up on eBay and made a few bucks but my buddy did the same thing and lost money. Go figure. VGPC isn't the best site to check your prices. Honestly the only site that gives you real data is eBay's completed listings. You can't go on any other site (that I know) where you can see what people actually paid for a game or if a particular game even sold. I guess VGPC is good to get a rough idea of what a game may be worth but I have run into many incorrect prices looking through the site. That is amazing about GBA and if it holds up I guess it would take a few months for the games to get to that magical 75% off mark.

Have:

Asterix
Billy Bob's huntin and fishin
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Black Bass Fishing
Dexter's Labratory
Evil Knevel
F1 Grand Prix 2
The Flinstones (movie)
Godzilla The Series
Harry Potter
Hit the Ice
In your Face
Jack Nicklaus Golf
Looney Toons Collection Alert (x2)
Mary Kate and Ashley Pocket Planner
Mary Kate and Ashley Crash Course
Men In Black the series
NBA on NBC Showtime
Planet of the Apes
Race
Robopon
R-Type DX
Racin Ratz
Turok Rage Wars
Turok 3
Track and Field (original Gameboy)
Track and Field (Gameboy Color)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (will probably keep this one)
Top Gear Pocket
Wheel of Fortune
Woody Woodpecker Racing
Yu Gi Oh: Dark Duel Stories
WWF Betrayal
WWF Superstars 2

Here are a few I am interested in. There are probably more I would trade for but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Conker’s Pocket Tales
Crystalis
Donkey Kong
Final Fantasy Legend 1,2
Gameboy Light (looking for the worm light, purple if possible)
Mega Man 2,3,4,5
Nemesis
Paperboy
Perfect Dark
Shadowgate Classic
Tetris DX
Tomb Raider
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 and 3

my ass early march.

I forgot who said but I think it was someone here who said that they won't be clearancing GBA games out for a while.

But let me tell you, when they do clearance those games out, I'll be on one hell of a rampage seeing that I missed out on some of the best games for that system.

For now, lets enjoy this sale and then start saving up for the next one :p

There was somewhat of a goldmine store near me that i was going to flip the dupes to estarland wonder if anyone scooped em up, i might go if i have a good blockbuster haul since my luck will be high

I got Link's Awakening DX and Resident Evil Gaiden for trade. I am looking for Kirby games for any system if someone isinterested. I do have Kirby Dreamland 2 for GBC already.

I would tend to agree. It took them a long time just to stop carrying the Gameboy games. Some of the titles we are picking up now are approaching 20 years old!

Yeah, I would think they would continue to carry GBA games and systems until the successor to the DS (and I don't mean DSi) arrives. The DS still has GBA backwards compatability, and as long as that's a very popular system, GS will keep selling GBA games, too.

I am very much looking forward to that clearance when it comes, though. Unlike Gamecube and PS2, which I pretty much have completed personal collections for, I missed out on TONS of great GBA games that I would love to play some day. Of course, I'll probably never find the time for half of it....
im willing to trade pokemon silver for pokemon gold if anybody has one.
be careful because almost every gold that I bought so far have had dead batteries.

Also, I've recently started replacing the batteries inside the cartridges and have been successful. Just a few more days of testing and I believe I will have successfully replaced 2 Gold Cartridge batteries :)

just gotta replace my personal copy of crystal now.

That game is nothing like the original and it doesn't seem to have come out on the NES.

I've just been picking up anything left when I happen across Gamestops on trips for work. Usually just two to four games at each store. Only thing I've left behind so far is the Mary Kate & Ashley Planner. There are three of them at the big Gamestop in Tukwila, WA, if somebody is really looking for one. I also now own a a ton of wireless adapters and link cables for Gameboy Advance, somehow they seem worth it at 79 cents each.

I also managed to lose, somewhere in my house, the big bag from my largest haul. The one with all the Pokemon in it.

I think you're looking for "Wario Blast! Featuring Bomberman"

It's a great game and if I remember correctly it is similar to the NES game.

At long last I have found Spiderman 2 The Sinister Six $1.20 and Donkey Kong $0.45.:) Unfortunately Donkey Kong does not save.:( I also picked up Spiderman $0.75 this store restocked these three games were not in stock at this store before.

I was at the big GS in Tukwila and they were down to only 2 Mary Kate & Ashley planners. Different labels on the carts, but the same game I almost thought I had found a game to get. If there were recently 3 someone must have picked one up, who here is going to admit to it?

I found and bought

Pokemon Puzzle Challenge $0.45
Pokemon Trading Card game $.30
The Lion King Simba's Mighty Adventure $1.50

One game I failed to find during this clearance is Kirby Tilt N Tumble. I am interested in trading for it it must be clean no markings or tears on the game label 100% working condition. I have Super Mario Bros. Deluxe or Pokemon Puzzle Challenge to trade for it. PM if interested.

Why the fuck did you bump this after six months?

We've got a trading forum. Use it. You've been here long enough to know that, and you have iTrader feedback. #-o

Actually, while the post that revived this thread was just a trade request amd certainly did not belong here, I did see some GB games at the Pickering Square store in Issaquah, WA yesterday. I hadn't seen any in quite some time and was surprised to see them. Nothing I wanted, and sorry for not taking note of what they were but if anyone was wanting to still take part in this there is a place to go.

That does remind me, there is one Gamestop in my area that I wasn't able to find/hit the day the 75% off kicked in, and a quick look, seems like they do still have stuff in. I should check them out tomorrow. And one farther down that still has a copy of Megaman 2...

On a sidenote, can you find whats wrong with this picture:

There is a few things, but I find one of them pretty funny.
