lol. I find gamestop confusing as of late, if you preorder zelda from them, instead of preorder (they do have the term for it), they used the other term backorder.... So right now it's Open box, pre-owned.... open box = backpack has never been used, preownered = backpack might've been used... who knows... well noone will know until the order ships and stuff I guess.
 
I've bought 3 pc games so far at my local EB (Last Remnant, Left 4 Dead, Fallout NV) that were "gutted for display", with the steam activation key tucked "safe" behind the counter. Had to call the district manager to get them replaced when I got home and found that the key had already been activated.
