Gamestop: "Play your Way" - Free ($15) Gift w/ $60 Game purchase

Interesting that they are offering you a restaurant gift card, when eating at home is most certainly more healthy for you than eating at a restaurant.
 
Well, looks like I'll be getting a $15 TGI Friday's gift card. I was picking up the LBP2 Collector's Edition anyway. Thanks OP, otherwise I would have just bought the game and been content enough with that.

Why would gamestop want you to be skinny and fit? They want your fat asses buried in a couch playing video games. It's actually brilliant.

Hell, if you're gonna buy $60 worth of games anyway, might as well get the $15 GC. Does the LBP2 CE even qualify though?

Here's an idea Gamestop: if you want my business just take $15 off of a new game. I don't need "redemption codes" for stuff I would never buy in the first place.

they'd be better off just giving you a $10 GC, TGIF's gc doesn't make any sense considering majority of the games are fitness games. I wonder who in marketing thought this was a good idea.

And even if you choose fitness games, it's a win/win for them. Even if you do get off the couch and use them, you head on down to TGIFriday's for dinner afterward and need a couple more fitness games and the real money, those accessories, to work it off.
 
Why I switched to amazon for all my purchases, real money back, well amazon gift cards, but still I can use it for other titles and not on lousy food.

Littlebigplanet 2 is on there. How do you not get that the Collector's Edition should be included in the program?
 
I haven't eaten @ TGI Friday's in a couple of years now. My last experience there was far less than favorable w/ my wife having to have her food sent back 2 or 3 times because it wasn't done then it was too done.

Only thing decent there is their Jack Daniel's burger...personally I prefer Applebees...even then Applebee's is nothing to brag about.
 
Cool to see Gamestop offering some incentive to buying with them and offering more than exclusive DLC. As long as I get the reward with my copy of LBP2 CE, I won't complain.

Not to deviate further from the topic...but that burger IS good. Very good in-fact.

In terms of rewards, as others have said, Amazon still wins.
 
Not to deviate from the topic but at least you could trade the $15 friday's gift card at one of those gift card trading sites (I have used a lot of them and each work perfectly). You wouldn't get the full value of your card, but its better than nothing. Or sell it to a friend who likes chain restaurants...
 
Okay, so if im getting LBP2.... all of these offers can stack? ... get 25% bonus on games traded toward the purchase of LBP2(which im doing) the 15 dollar TGI giftcard AND pre order bonus costumes?

Will all of these stack with a pre order? thats a lot of incentive to buy LBP2 haha..
 
I am amazed GS is still in business. I think I have only ever bought one thing from them, a $20 1600points card for a buddyto get a cod map pack. With games dropping in price the way they do no reason to buy used imo.

I recently got

Splinter Cell Conviction for $10 shipped
Bioshock 2 for 14 or so shipped , dont remember exactly.
Bayonetta for $10 shipped
Madden11 for $22 shipped
And just put a order in for Singularity which came to be like $16 after tax, ship to store.

Aside from BOps I can't remember the last time I paid $60 for a game.

And I got BOps from Kmart with the rewards dealio and used it to grab NBA2k11 for $15.
