Gamestop Pre-Owned Bundle Sale

Not too bad. I'd totally be in for the role playing bundle if it was a little cheaper or if it was fable 3 instead of 2. Anyways, nothing for me but thanks OP

Fixed the OP to point out that these are pre-owned games, not new.

Usual caveats with used games from GS applies, of course.

I can totally understand you not listing each bundle in the OP, but please add "pre-owned" to the title.

Interesting strategy for gamestop, pretty smart on their part actually.

A few of the bundles state "bonus included", but I don't see a mention of what the bonus is. Anyone see it? Forgive me if it does show it somewhere on the page, viewing on iPhone makes it easy to miss some things, but I did look for it.

Edit: shrike beat me to it.

I think the 360 shooter bundle is the only one that is somewhat decent.

The other ones are just terribly random, and not very well thought out, or pricey.

They want $40 for 3 sports games that are OLD. Madden 10(1 year old), MLB 2k10(1 year old), and NBA 2k9(2 years old). Those games aren't worth more than 10$ each.

Gamestop sure knows how to rip off consumers.

Thanks for the tips guys, I didn't notice the pre-owned part.
So far I think the "Bonus" is an additional discount.
The 360 shooter bundle costs about $37 separately , the bundle is $32, and the bonus makes it $25.

I wish there would have been a ps3 role playing bundle, I'm sure if there had been, it would have included Eternal Sonata and Star Ocean. Too bad. Man this would have been an epic deal if that buy 2 get 1 free deal was around, someone could have bought this bundle along with one other game, and got one free. Would have ended up with 5 games.

Worst selection for game bundles ever? And used at that. BB had buy 2 get 1 free greatest hits last week that destroys all of these bundles. That Wii bundle can NOT be serious, Wii sports? Who the hell is buying Wii Sports with Metroid Prime 3 and Wii Music. They would have to pay me just to carry that bundle out to the dumpster where it belongs.

Funny thing is they are not being ripped offed because they agree to pay that and feel it is worth it if the purchase is made. A store cannot rip anyone off unlike say a cable provider that raises rates because they know they are the only option, where as a gamestop is not the only option in the used game market.

Good ole gamestop with overpriced games. You can get the games of each bundle cheaper individiually, and in some cases new copies for less when factored together.

What is this strange creature? A rational consumer?

Fable II is way better.

I actually like all of the bundles except the sports and Wii ones. Too bad the prices are too high. I will say, however, that if you want the fighting bundle, it's worth it to just spring for Super Street Figter IV over the regular one.

GameStop should change its name to gAmeDump

There's no guarantee the cases/ manuals would be included even after paying top dollar.

Don't try to bring up logic and reasoning when it comes to blind GS bashing.

Well if someone missed those 3 games in the shooter bundle (which is very odd, since I'd assume EVERY one has at least ONE of the games on there), that $25 is a good price IMO.
Like the idea Gamestop, but need to stick the landing.
Great quote - I agree . . . Knock $10-15 bucks off each of those packages and I'd be all over them.

those deals are terrible since there isn't a single combo with more than 1 game that i would want.

I question the Wii Sports bundle.

Although I do like the idea of Matroid Prime 3....

Not gonna bite. I'm trying to save the $63 in leftover credit from trading in a Wii system for a while.

I honestly think these ate some good bundles. Especially the RPG and Shooter bundle,if I didn't already have all of these I would jump on this. I guess this would be perfect for someone who just bought a new system.

Being ripped off means purchasing something for more money than it is sold for somewhere else. Therefore, they are being ripped off by purchasing these games from Gamestop that are overpriced compared to other competitors. In this manner Gamestop is blindly ripping off customers who don't know where to check for low game prices.

But for their normal shnook customers, who are ok with disc only and beat up games apparently, these prices may be quite the deal since I'm sure most Joe Football or Suzy Soccermoms are of the mindset that all games this gen are $60 and never drop from there.

So, to some(ie: not us on CAG) these MAY be an actual deal.

FYI: The game bundle in the upper left corner(PS3 shooter bundle) is a good way to convert Gamestop credit into Best Buy credit, since BB gives the same amount in trade for each game in the bundle as the total price of the bundle itself.

Mind you after paying taxes and any possible shipping charges it's not an even transfer of credit, but pretty close overall.

I guess it depends on where you live. I have several cable providers to choose from... May be someone lives in an area where GS is the closest used videogame retailer they have... just saying. I do understand your point, you don't have to buy into a deal you don't like... correct ?

Very weak. Don't want CoD or Star Wars so the bundles are crap to begin with. Already have AC, HS, and KZ2 (which I didn't really care for because I just couldn't get the mouse to feel right).

Sometimes it feels like GS isn't even trying.
Some of these are pretty decent. Others aren't. Also, what sport is Metroid?
Dude... you never played Metroid in gym class?

What kind of bullshit childhood did you have?
