I think the PS3 version of Cold Steel don't have the speedup / turbo mode (let's you 2x-6x map / battle - so worth it) option. PC version has it (I have Part 1 on steam). Not sure with PS4.

Easy. The PS4 is the better selling platform which typically means games sell on the console with less need for sales or discounts.

Xbone games on the other hand have fewer customers to sell so not surprising to see more Xbone games sitting in clearance ailes.

I recall during the PS2-Xbox OG-GCN era, it'd be easy to find Xbox OG and GCN games on cleareance because PS2 was essentially wiping the floor with both.

Also, losing platforms have a greater incentive to offer discounts to get customers to adopt their platform. See, e.g., those cheap sales at the MS Store for even shipped physical Xbone software.

Went ahead and alphabetized the Xbone list. If anyone wants to create a PS3, Wii u, etc list it would greatly help.

The PS4 version is a bit better, for sure. But getting the PS3 version for $8.33 is definitely worth it.
 
I highly recommend Axiom Verge. I picked it up on PS4 and it is a great blend of old school Metroid and Contra and it's an 8-bit game.

You're not getting the full GameStop experience unless you find at least one booger.

 
So one of the Wii U Games I got on the buy 3 for $25 poops out on me after a few minutes (says bad disc, clean it, etc). I'd prefer to get a replacement, but now no stores within 50 miles has it in stock anymore - would they allow me to get a refund on just that 1 game or could I possibly choose another game of equal value they do have in stock?

While that is true, I would recommend getting whatever titles you want now. Prices fluctuate and if GameStop sees that inventory stock doesn't meet demand, you can expect to see price hikes following the next week for some titles.

I need to run in and get a few things. I've been waiting for one of these sales for a while because Driveclub is $14.99 and hasn't been eligible for the last few sales that were only for $9.99 and under games. I want to get it soon since it is being delisted and the only way to get it in the future will be physical. I could have sworn that Driveclub VR was cheaper too but either they raised the price for pre-owned up to $19.99 or I somehow got it mixed up a few months ago when I last checked.

Honestly with elite at 6$ Each it’s a good deal. Plus there have been many reports that PS5 and new Xbox will be backwards compatible with all previous generations so these sales are the perfect time to pick them before some potentially go up in price because of it...... at least that’s what I tell myself.😑

There is almost zero chance that the PS5 and new Xbox are going to be backwards compatible with all previous generations. With the current generation sure.

 
Has anyone had issues with there stores no longer doing a discount for being a power up reward member I was told it's being beta tested in select stores really shitty if that's the case

Microsoft has said that if it can be played on an Xbox One it will work on Scarlett, this includes Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible on an Xbox One. This applies to controllers too.

 
I think to get use of a $5 cert with this deal, you'd need to find a $19.99 game to pair up with two other games. But that is solely based on my memory of similar questions/answers from other GameStop threads

New weekly ad is showing Dynasty Warriors 9, Nathan Drake Collection, Batman beyond Gotham, Injustice 2 and Yakuza Kiwami for $14.99 each. This will most likely be the final week for this promo.
