Gamestop Preorder Payment Options?

I was thinking of preordering a game from Gamestop, and was wondering, can you pay a little on the game every fews weeks before it releases? Kind of like layaway? I'm thinking not, but I just wanted to make sure.

Bettin' a call to a gamestop store would be faster and more accurate.

You can preorder and then start adding money towards the pre-order. I have a friend who used to do that.

Yea you have to put $5 down at first. Then go back whenever and keep adding money to it.

Yes you can. Not sure why you'd want to though, you only have to put $5 down.

My friend used to do it because he's bad at saving money and figured if he gave it to gamestop he couldn't spend it on anything else :lol:
