Gamestop PS4 Black Friday Bundle $610

Is this a good deal? Not as in a CAG deal, but I mean is the contents of the bundle worth getting for the price?

Only other place I found a PS4 is for $475 fat, so should I get the gamestop bundle or just buy the console alone for 475?

Also, if i get the console alone, are there any deals on PS4 games, because all I see is $10 off?

Isn't PS+  on sale this weekend anyway?  All this deal does is offer the same PS+ discount, and force you into buying Knack, Killzone, and a second controller.

No. Buy a Wii U for now instead if you have any interest at all (I'm serious) and get a PS4 for the normal $400 price when they're not trying to shove crappy bundle "deals" down your throat.

Don't buy a Wii U at all considering 98% of the library is shovelware and rehashes. Plus the hardware can hardly even compete with an Xbox 360 as it is.

Put money towards a PC hell even a PS4. Stay away from the Wii U no matter what. I'll be happy when it goes the way of the Dreamcast.
 
Why are we even talking about a Wii U?

Anyway, I bought one in case I can't find another before christmas. If i do Ill return it. Its no special deal, but at least its better than paying someone $50 surcharge for buying me one on CL tho

 
This ps4 deal is a true rip off!   The only good thing is that if you really want a PS4 you can get one... but damn GS is really penalizing the consumer on this ripoff bundle.

edit: it's not a ripoff, but I just don't like the fact that the bundle is forcing you to buy things that you can get on sale elsewhere... bundles are supposed to allow you to save money not pay full price for everything.

I mean I wanted kz4 and the ps+, but I didnt really need another DS4 and I had no idea what Knack is lol

I can always exchange the Knack if I decide I dont want it, and the DS4 is easy to sell, or exchange, but its makin me spend $120 more than I wanted to ....i wanted a kz4 bundle if anything..

its ok, at least i got one

 
Speaking of which, what do you think of Knack? What would be better to exchange it for if u dont like it?

I like shooters, so I wanted KZ4, and although I love battlefield, I dont really want another shooter for my alternate/second game (and FU/< COD ghosts, that franchise wont get another penny outta me lol)

i like action/adventure, sandbox, but i dont see anything atm, except AC IV

I thought knack was just ok, iput about five hours in and then sold it. Its pretty repetative, and there is no real hook to pull you in. It is really just kind of bland.

Why would you be happy if it failed? I don't understand people.

(By the way, it actually has a decent number of good games out. Believe me - I've played them!)

I haven't played Knack, but if you like platformers it's worth giving it a shot. The truth is, there isn't a whole lot on PS4...yet. I don't like FPSs but I gave Battlefield a go and it's really fun. Thankfully, they've ironed most of the bugs out; getting into a conquest match was all but impossible for the first week or so but it's been pretty stable since. I think if you really like sandbox games your best bet is Infamous, which doesn't release until early next year.

 
Oh yeah BF4, is excellent, definitely one of the best if not the best FPS franchise, far better than COD, however I already got KZ4, id rather have something else to switch it up, but if theres nothin else, ill be getting BF4

 
I should have posted this earlier, but you can easily return parts of a bundle back to Gamestop for a full refund.  I ordered a Forza 5 day one bundle through gamestop.com that came with an extra controller I didn't want or need.  The items were listed separately on my packing slip so I took it to a nearby store and got $59.99 + tax put back on my credit card.

 
oh awesome, thanks for lettin me know. now ill just return knack and the ds4....great, just saved that 120 that i didnt need to spend! thanks dude
