Gamestop PUR coupon: 10 percent off pre-owned when using store pick-up

Tried using both coupons earlier today and the cashier lied to my face and told me that she was unable to even check to see if a second coupon would scan on penalty of losing her job. She told me that corporate watches the cameras and that if they saw her willingly scan two coupons, she would be fired. Absolute BS. There's absolutely no way what she said was true. If Gamestop didn't want multiple coupons to scan, they'd just update their software to refuse any coupons beyond one.

For some reason this lady REALLY didn't want me to save a few dollars.
I absolutely hate when cashiers simply invent new reasons to deny you a discount ... and it is not just something limited to Gamestop. I mean, honestly ... how can you be fired for running a transaction through the register? And anyway, do they even pay you enough to really give a shit?

Not related, didn't happen at GS but a chick did get fired for scanning part of her friends' items & pretending to scan the other items lolol essentially she was always giving her friends a b1g1 deal lol... the store's inventory was always off..turns out they had cameras at the checkout place to review the footage whatever that she didn't know about

Did you tell her never mind then, then say 'Alright I'll come back tomorrow?' That woulda really got her. I wonder if her single coupon policy was more important than the sale

I did say "nevermind" and left. After the fact I considered canceling my Uncharted 4 LE preorder and going to a GS a little further out. Still have yet to do this.

Oh I figured you'd just buy it anyway. That's awesome, sticking it to the (wo)man

That's why many retailers have policies that state cashiers cannot check out for their friends or family. They need to go to a different cashier (if one is available) or a manager needs to be called over if there are no other cashiers available. It's a pretty big area of theft, or at least it used to be, and is the reason many places have cameras above each register.

Hey guys, I know that most Gamestops are about to close but if anybody is waiting to go last minute, I just went and I can confirm first hand that you can stack PUR+20% off+ this 10% off coupon. I know that we already know this, but I want to say that it doesn't require any special permission, or console override. Literally the guy just scanned one after the other when I showed him and it all applied. The promo #s are, 18177 for 10% and 18055 for 20% if anyone cares.

Also, after the first % off, it takes off the discounted price, and not the original price. So rather than getting 40% off, I guess it's around 35%?

There's also some glitch I saw a long time ago where if you buy a used game, it takes 10% off a new game in the same purchase, or something, idk, I gotta dig it up...
