GameStop - Save $10 on Preowned Consoles

If you don't mind buying used games the Go makes no sense. With the digital downloads staying at high prices and the price of UMD games low and poised to get lower, the standard seems the way to go.

Is it abnormal to have the DS and PSP listed as a console? I was pretty sure that they were handheld consoles (I'm serious here, I didn't know they weren't consoles).

This might be what finally gets me to buy my nephews a PS2 so that they don't have to steal mine all the time. Too bad it appears the $40-50 PS2 bundles aren't included.
 
Thanks OP! Picking up a ps2 to replace the one that broke ages ago.

Note though that these systems usually come with knockoff controllers. Not a big deal but it'll cost you $3 or so to get a name brand one if you care about that.
 
If they let you purchase the one year warranty they offer instore online for 20 dollars i would jump on this meh otherwise
 
Thanks OP. I was thinking about getting a Refurb PS2 when the price dropped to 39.99 recently. 29.99 with this deal = bought. I could certainly use a DVD player/game system to hook to the TV/VCR (lol) near my bed. Here's hoping and crossing my fingers the disc drive on it lasts a while.

The trusty old SAVER code worked on this to give me free shipping, BTW.

Which one of these systems would you be buying it on? Warranties are generally a ripoff, except maybe on an older 360 that you expect to fail. But even then $20? Use squaretrade or something.

No, he's talking about how Gamestop B&M is currently offering a free one year warranty with any pre-owned game or console.

Kinda sucks that I just bought a used PS2 Slim from them two weeks ago, though if I can get it at 30, + free warranty, I wouldn't mind picking up a spare.

It seems this way. I sent an email to Customer Service to make sure it's not supposed to be included. It just seemed weird because on the link to the promotion the ps2 picture shown is that of the slim. I guess they just want to get rid of their fats ps2s.
 
Dang I bought the ps2 slim this morning and I never got the discount!

Seems its only the the phat ps2, but I sent an email to them about the deal and front page image that show ps2 slim.......hopefully they give me a credit. :)
