I find it hard to believe there's anywhere out there with a Gamestop but no Wal-mart/ Target/Best Buy/ etc. around.
And if you have access to Ebay, then you have access to the rest of the many, many internet sources of games as well.
It's entirely possible or anyone on this board to completely avoid Gamestop/EB- it's simply a question of putting in the effort to find a new place to spend your money.
Wal-mart? Not a place to go for games. Deals are always YMMV and not one here ever has anything worth getting. You won't find much that's old to begin with.
Target? Only one in my area and it's usually virtually wiped of anything decent. Like Wal-mart, nothing but newer titles really sit there.
Best Buy? Same as Target but further away. Hasn't had one good deal on games since their big ass clearance.
Circuit City? Only worth going for clearance and sales. That's it.
But as I said. GAME RETAILERS. Neither of the above mentioned specialize in gaming needs.
With online, you have to actually scour around for what you want depending on its rarity or the demand behind it. Then you have to put up with varying prices and shipping costs that add onto it. Depending on if it's an actual legit store or an average Joe seller, you'll have to hope it arrives on time and that the seller wasn't jipping you.
This is CAG. Most of us don't pay retail prices for games. Most ordinary stores don't really offer discounts on most games. So it's annoying when you only have the choice between a company that will willing

you in the ass and online. Especially should you actually want something right away and won't be getting much of a deal by paying extra for quicker shipping costs for online stores.
