Gamestop Survey
Well, like I said and many others in this thread have said before...

Method 1) Sign up for Pizza Hut (#1 most invites through newsletters/ordering) or Gamestop Newsletter. Play the waiting game, and you should receive 2 invites (one to erewards and another to u.talk.back) in your email box.

Method 2) Wait/ask/plead/beg for another member to PM or post an invite in this thread.

Its better to complete Method 1 and 2 because both require time and luck.
I'm apart of utalkback via the Gamestop newsletter sign up like 7 months ago. I was just looking for other places that'll offer different branches of erewards. So, Pizza Hut newsletter you say? I think I'll try that out.

Yeah, my other (non-gamestop) erewards account has $126 on it. I've been a member for maybe 2yrs and I get surveys for that on average at least once or twice a week, but lately I haven't qualified for any of them. However, the sponsors suck on that account, which is why I've accumulated so much $$. The stuff I can "buy" is a complete ripoff. Ebags? yeah I could find those deals plenty of other places for free. Same with Omaha Steaks. All of the airfare travel miles are useless to me since you'd need thousands of dollars worth to make them worthwhile, and you'd need to fly more often than 2-3 times a year like I do. The pizza hut link has no offers available, and all the pizza huts around here closed down years ago so that is useless anyway.

In 2001 I vowed never to set foot in a Blockbuster again, but now it's looking like the only sponsor I can spend any of these rewards on. I've got enough $$ to buy 5 previously viewed DVDs. Guess I have to break my Blockbuster ban.

The account I opened under gamestop only has $9 :(
But then again it's only a few weeks old. I signed up for their newsletter and it took nearly a year to get an invite.
I got this a while back, but I thought it was fake...like spam or something. Does it actually work?
No offense, but I'm pretty sure the 40ish page thread about this site is probably enough proof, is it not?

Whoever said to go back and try old surveys was right. I just got full credit for one that had been sitting there since May. Still, it's been dry for weeks and I'm at $44 for my 3rd card.

i signed up like 2 weeks ago and now they sent me 2 surveys i clicked on one of them and it said i wil get 40 points if i complete it but then theyre server was down when i tried :wall::bs::wall::bs::whistle2:&

ok so both surveys were worth 40 points but the first one they say i didnt qualify for it and the second they BS me and said that i paused my test and it can only be accessed once

I had a survey that was worth $25 last night but as soon as I clicked on it I was told that they had enough responses already. It must've come to my inbox midday while I was at work.

I would definately advise you to do that because as of lately Blockbuster has become sort of a goldmine for video games. Especially for flipping or to quote this site 'kunai' games. get those cards and get them fast. lol

It was me that said that. you just have to be persistent with the site and it pays off. When your in a drought go and update your information. sometimes it works others it doesn't. good luck

currently up to $39.60 for my 3rd card and it is only the end of July. looks like i will be definately cashing out borders rewards so my points don't expire.

Just ordered my second $25 card. Last time I ended up getting a $50 card. Weird considering they don't even offer a $50 option and even the envelope said $25.

Hopefully they screw up again.

I think someone else mentioned this happening to them as well. No such luck on my end. All three of the cards I've gotten so far have been $25 ones.

I just completed a $7 survey to put me over the $50 mark for the 4th time. As soon as the quarter changes again I will be in for my 4th card.
Hey Jenny, you remember how you got invited to the other erewards site? (the non-gamestop one)
I couldn't remember, but while attempting to get into the gamestop one for the past year I'd emailed them multiple times trying to find out who I had signed up under. It took them forever to finally give me an answer, and it turned out that it was Best Buy. Which makes sense, cuz I shop at Best Buy a ton. However, Best Buy isn't even listed as a program sponsor or reward partner when I sign in! All the sponsors that are listed suck, which is why I've accumulated so much $$.

I just got a $16 survey and I qualified for it. But then they said they had enough responses and shut me out. So I didnt get the $1 for not qualifying, and since I never completed the survey, Im out $16 too >_

Yeah. Those high paying surveys go fast. You pretty much have to check your e-mail regularly to have a chance of scoring.

You should still get the complementary $1 for at least taking the survey. It takes a couple of days to credit to your account though.

Ah well, usually I get credited when I dont qualify, so I was confused this time since I got pass the pre-qualify but got shot down on the actual survey. Anyways, hopefully it'll show up, thanks ;)

I got a $10 one that died in the middle even though I qualified. Sigh. I wonder if I'll manage to finish a card before the end of the year even, at this rate.
I'm starting to seriously wonder why I bother with this site. I've done nearly 20 surveys and never qualified for any of them.
Depending on what you initially told the servicing site, it could be harder for you to qualify for surveys based on your background. Easiest way around this? Lie a lot.

But how exactly would you know what to lie about ;) I tried thinking that way for a while, trying to answer what I thought they wanted to hear, but that failed sometimes too. The fact of the matter is, sometimes they wanna hear from people that know the subject or field, other times they want someone that doesnt know anything about that field.

That's true. However, I'm guessing he might be taking the honest approach which leads to nowhere fast.

Also, say that you have a full-time job. I've noticed that they don't like students.

Took 1 of those 16 dollar entertainment surveys yesterday. Had to watch some kind of TV show....the whole freaking show! So i watch it and it goes straight to the you do not qualify to do this survey.

Needless to say it was something that COULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION 30 MINUTES AGO!!! :bomb:

this thread really needs a wiki or something like that.
anyway best tips for the surveys:

1. never lie about your exact demographics(age, sex, etc. etc.) It is harder to remember that lie.
*also full time employees tend to be accepted to most surveys
2. ALWAYS SAY YOU DON'T WORK IN THAT FIELD. every single time I say I work in the right field i always get kicked out
3. make sure you at least the questions on the surveys you take before you click through them
4. if you get bounced out of a survey check it again to see if you can complete it
5. refresh your settings every week or so
6. also make sure you check your email regularly. at least 4 times a day for survey invites

though none of these tips are guaranteed to help you get through the surveys they tend to point you on the right path.

please someone edit the first post to include these tips or something similar.

I just wanna make sure all us fellow CAGers get the most out of every free deal we can
To everyone on the u.talk.back site, do you cash out for $25 cards, or do you go for the $50?
When did you sign up? I'd go for $25 if you're not having much luck with surveys. Otherwise, save up.

I just did a tv show survey at erewards and got jipped. After 40 minutes of this stupid show (Good Behavior) I only got the partial credit of a $1. It was supposed to be $16. I am so pissed, I sent an email to them telling them they need to give me full credit.

I don't remember...it's been awhile. The surveys are slowly trickling in though so I was just debating on sticking it out or not. Thanks Shady ^_^

Thats the same one that jipped me. Except I prequalified, and right as I was about to get to watch this video they shut me out, so I didnt even get the denial credit.

I haven't been getting a lot of u.talk.back offers recently, is it because I also used the e-rewards one also?

That's why I never do the TV shows ones.

I got & used my second GS GC a couple weeks ago, and by the time it arrived, I had over $50 in my account to redeem a new one. (I'm currently at 69.40 and I just had a $5 one today that I'm waiting to go through.)

I haven't been responding quickly, so some surveys are dead by the time I get to them; but that really hasn't been hurting me. I just wish there wasn't a three month wait between ordering cards...I imagine I'll have enough for two cards easily three months from now.

I work full time, have a family, a couple cars, insurance, etc. That's probably why I can qualify a lot easier than some here - I fall into more possible demographics.

I had to fill out 2 prequalify questionnaires, 1 from erewards and one from the actual survey, then watched a trailer of the show and then watched the show, then got jipped. I was getting a bunch before, then they stopped. So I updated all my info and wham! I get 2 today. The tv show and a beer one. It does help being in my mid 30s, married, and employed making a middle income. I seem to fit the bill for several of these.
how do you guys know what answers to put in questions to qualify for the surveys??
You dont, its a survey, sometimes they want a newbie to the field, other times they want a pro. Sometimes they want 20s single males, other times they want married 30s females. So you dont know exactly, but since you know the topic of the survey, lets say "Snack Consumption", you might want to lean on the younger student side?

Well, I am using the E-Rewards one and it is hella easier to get surveys from that. I suggest switching.
How do i even get in the erewards gamestop one?
Sign up for the news letter on the GS website and you will eventually get one.
