Gamestop Tax Season Promotion - RDR Undead Nightmare (DLC) $10.00 off & more

Yeah, it was posted earlier on when it first came out. I misread the title as the base game for 10 dollars and flew into the link...guess that's what I get for staying up til near 6am xD

Unfortunately their using of the word "sale" is very depressing for the most part...

I like how they put $15 off any DS3 with a purchase of LBP2 when it's already $15 off on Amazon.

Precisely. The 'sale' matches the competition if you only purchase a new game for full price, a game which has already been reduced at other retailers. It's like PSN+, you need to pay to get a discount. What sense does that make? I still have unused coupons and nothing to spend them on. There was one game I wanted but found that GS was charging $35 for it when everyone else had it for $30 or less.

The frequency of sales on new products had defeated the purpose of GS's used racks. If it weren't for the GC's I earn from a survey site I don't know that GS is worth visiting anymore. The discount card isn't useful enough and the magazine has too much 360 and phone related garbage in it. The whole reward program is lame actually.
 
lolz, i work at gamestop and these deals are to hook soccer moms who don't check elsewhere. Since we are all CAGs these so called "sales" aren't really sales. These "sale" prices don't work with my employee discount.

The LBP promo is pretty dumb. I will soon have customers asking to change the game or something. The controllers can be had this week for 40 dollars anyways.
 
Was a little annoyed to see the BC2: Vietnam DLC for $15 on that list. Maybe I could redeem a rewards coupon and get it for $5, score.
 
wow I ALMOST broke my boycott against Gamestop to pick up RDR: Undead for $10 until I saw that it was DLC only... Forget that. Gamestop loses yet again!

The thread is about the Undead Nightmare DLC pack, so it is $10. Unfortunately though it's not anything off, the Undead Nightmare DLC has always been $10 as far as I'm aware.
 
it's 800 msp (10$) if you buy it on XBL (& you get it right then and don't have to drive). i can't stand GS. they charge shipping & taxes + full price on new games at gamestop.com.

i had been saving up giftcards to preorder a 3DS (so i could pick up on 1st day) and realize it's 270$ after tax. at Amazon i could have put that 20$ i'd save on tax towards a game to play on the darn thing. the only reason i saved up GS credit is cuz of e-rewards and i knew i wouldn't spend it on anything else from there (whereas i'd have spent it on games @ amazon possibly). it's pointless to shop there unless you work there.
 
I went to pick up starcraft 2 for $50 so I can finally use the gift card I got, but it shows up as $60 in my cart. Why do you not want me to use my card GS?

EDIT: oh I see it ended yesterday, doh

It takes gigantic balls to throw at least 10 titles sold at MSRP onto a page thats titled 'Tax Season Savings'. But this is Game$top we're talking about.

It doesn't work like that. You need the disc to play it.
