Um, no. That would only be true if you've somehow found a way to avoid paying sales tax on non-discounted games. s

Michigan has 6% sales tax. Let's say you spend $100. Before the discount...

$100 * 1.06 = $106

After the discount...

$100 * 0.90 = $90 before tax.
$90 * 1.06 = $95.40.

Haha must be nice to have 6% sales tax. In CA here its like 9% so this is a useless sale more-or-less since all it does is eliminate tax.
