The thing I hate about this is just like the credit card incident they have a database of trade card numbers and correlating pins attached to people's accounts more then likely.
I would guess only tied to the account it was first used with.

I have looked up both of my accounts at that link, and only my main one ever shows anything.

Yeah, I clicked the links to both of my accounts and there was no $15 cert there. So as someone might have indicated before, it's misleading and they want to you claim 15k points to get that $15 cert. So nice job on your end to get CS to issue 15k points.
I told the associate that the email says in print"Present this email or access your Active Offers online or via the GameStop App to use your reward certificate in store."Issued: 05/01/2017 | Expires: 05/31/2017" Since, it is not in my active offers I printed it. I explained it doesn't say anywhere in the email to redeem my points. He agreed. Then he called CS and they added the points.

How do you make 2 accounts?

Wow, thanks for posting this. Apparently I have $100 of unused trade credit that I had no idea about.
When I entered my info it originally said I had $150 but when I received the return email the trade card had $24. It took 6 hours to get the return email.

My points from 5/4 must have just posted in the past couple of hours, because it wasn't there this morning.
My points for transactions on 5/4 just posted too. They rounded it up from 90 points to 100 off $4.49 transaction. I'll take what I can get after the PUR loan.

The balances look off on my unused trade cards, does anyone know if these include the balance on your actual PUR Pro membership card? I just want to make sure I am not missing one card.

Just got my points from 5/4. Last two purchases have taken 4 days to get the points I wonder if that is the new time frame for points to show up. I made a purchase yesterday so lets see how long that takes.

new trade in bonus

http://www.gamestop.com/collection/playlist

40% extra bonus when you trade toward two games listed from playlist.

really odd promo
Wonder if it triggers with 2 copies of 1 of the games on the list. If so, no great deal, but if you buy 2 copies of NBA 2k17 for PS3 ($30 each) and then trade them back in separately with the $5 coupon on each one for credit ($19.80+$5=$24.80 each) it would cost you roughly $10 for the 40% extra bonus without any returns/deposits on preorders/selling games on ebay or whatever.

Still kicking myself whenever this comes up because I saw everyone exploiting it, but thought it wasn't worth it to get $5 from each store. How naive was I smh
Depending how cool your store is (mine ruled) you could do as many as you wanted in multiple transactions. I walked out of one store with $100 in eShop credit thanks to 10 coupons

The base TIV is $18. Plus 40%+10% from pro is $27. If you wanted to use $5 card on both it would be $32 for each. It depends on you tax rate how much you loose.

I have points from 5/5 but nothing after that. Gamestop...we upgrade our systems so that they consistently work less consistently.
I can confirm they "attempted" to patch a security hole.

Where did this shit come from
good luck redeeming it... I've been emailing and calling Gamestop for 2 months over these fucking things... The last message I got from them is the biggest joke of a form letter that I've ever received. It says:

"As per reviewing your concern, I noticed that it has been taken care of. Thank you for doing business with GameStop and we hope you have a wonderful day."

but the best part was the opening sentence -

"Thank you for contacting GameStop Guest Care, my name is (Name) and I will be the specialist in charge to help you with your concern."

i have a $150 trade card in my wallet. will it still work if i filled in all the info in this link ? or will my trade card no longer work and they send it thru an email?
The physical trade card will get zero'd out once you submit the info. You can still use it later to add funds, but the current funds on the card will be moved to the digital card they'll e-mail you.

Sorry if I didn't explain that well, you wouldn't get the bump on the 2k17 copies. You would get the bump on only what you traded towards the purchase of the 2k17 copies. I don't know of any sorcery on how you would trade in a game you are purchasing in the same transaction and get the bonus.

So say you have $100 base worth of stuff to trade in you either

A) trade it in with PRO and get $110 or

B) trade it in with PRO while also purchasing 2 copies of 2k17 for PS3. You get $150 in credit less $60 for the 2 copies of 2k17 @ $30 each. So now with that transaction over, then you trade in those 2k17 copies separately (another location or at the same one but on a different day, and not both at the same time) and get back another $24.80 for each copy, so roughly $50. Scenario A you get $110, Scenario B you get $140 ($150 - $60 + $50) plus some additional PUR points for some extra work. Again nothing crazy and assumes you can buy 2 of the same game on the Playlist to activate the bonus. The larger the trade in the more beneficial it would be. And you are right, tax rates will alter the math.

Well guess I shall wait and see what happens whenever they get around with that email

Blackbeard - loving the ghetto brickseek Gamestop sheet, thank you very much for doing it!

If you have time, could you please add the Gamestop Exclusive Star Wars R5-D4 Droid figure to the list?

http://www.gamestop.com/collectibles/toys/star-wars-the-black-series-40th-anniversary-r5-d4-only-at-gamestop/143216

Appreciate your work, as always!
R5-D4 has been popping up everywhere in the Indy area. I remember 2 or 3 stores having 3 or 4 in stock. If you collect the Black Series, they also have the next wave up for pre-order in store. Imperial Royal Guard, Lando, Qui Gon Jinn, i think a couple of the others where not listed yet.

Song of the Deep Limited Edition Watch is $4.97 now. Over 5,000 left.

Going to splurge on that LE watch. Going to rock that sweet watch around town.

Thanks Beard.

Pro-tip: doing transactions right before the store closes gives associates less time to ask you questions. I grabbed a $75 Amazon card just now at one of my local stores. She was ready to close and didn't really want to do small talk, much less ask about how I was planning to pay!

I dropped by my local Gamestop to upgrade to a PS4 Pro, and the manager was awesome!

I got the advertised $200 in credit for the PS4, but she also gave me the advertised $100 for an old 3DS XL. When the systems came up for $150 and $60 respectively, the store manager called the DM and fought on my behalf, stating that the print ad clearly notes that multiple systems are valid toward trade in (the DM tried to say that only one system could be used toward the promotion) for any new system, and that the ad neglected to mention any specific models.

Stoked to play Horizon Zero Dawn, the way it was meant to be played!
