You recall during June & July of last summer Gamestop ran a promotion in conjunction with their facebook page and a coupon app.
People were able to instantaneously generate a $5 code to be redeemed for Xbox credit.
Here's a dilemma ...
I have a single code that I NEVER redeemed for the $5 credit. I input it into the system BOTH via console and AGAIN online.
Each time it tells me that the code is indeed a $5 credit however, it DOES NOT fully complete when I select 'Redeem Now' or 'Confirm'. Something went wrong, error, code, could not complete at this time, etc.
I do recall that the T&C stated that you had to redeem them by 12/31/14.
^^^Is this how they are handling "expired" codes now?
Rather then getting INVALID CODE when you initially input the code. It states what the code WILL give you -- in this case the $5 credit, but it will NOT fully complete since we are now past the 12/31/14 date.
Any thoughts?
