If you create an account at gametrailers and watch videos, upload videos, or write blog entries often, you could eventually garner enough GTD (gametrailers marketplace currency) to buy a videogame, a videogame console, etc. By far the most effective way of earning GTD (unless you upload a very popular video), however, is by referring other people to the site through your account. If you do, and they reach level 6 (gametrailers has this... leveling system. it's weird and seemingly pointless), the referrer gains 500 GTD. To put this all in to perspective, the average game on the Gametrailers marketplace costs either 7500 (DS) or 10000 (360, PS3, and Wii) GTD. Also, 50 GTD could be gained per day by watching videos on their site.
Anyway, having explained how the reward system works, maybe someone wants to sign up with the link atop my post? please? >_>
also, if you already have a gametrailers account, you could post your link in here and beg for referrals. >_>

Man, this sounds horrible.

500 points per referral that reaches a certain level, that's 20 people!

Or 50 a day by watching videos, that would take over 3 months to get a game!

I think I'll stick with yourfree360games and get a free game in 10 minutes.

When you put it that way, YourFree360Games rules all.

Wow. You know, not everyone wants to or could use their credit card information to initiate and then cancel offers. Also, videos could be streamed consecutively unattended.

anyways free bump dude i signed up under you just to watch some game trailers cause i get bored at work, goodluck on your other 19 refs lol

just an FYI heres some more info on their pts system

PS3 cost like 63k$, games cost like 10K$

I think as said before you get 50$ max per day from movies and whatever, so that equates to 600exp so to get to level 5 you would need to watch movies for like 13 days, you can thumbs up and down peoples posts and blogs and user movies and whatever and your level i think dictates how many $ they get. Its a cool site though i spent a couple hrs killing time here at work just watching game trailers.

thanks for signing up with my referral link. :applause: If you reach level 5, I'll have enough to buy a DS game. But I might just keep saving it up... I'm not sure yet.
btw, if you are a member at gametrailers... one of the easiest ways to get GTD is to download new gameplay videos from IGN, Gamespot, etc. and post rehost them as user movies on gametrailers. It is allowed, and you could get a ton of views out of new videos of popular games. Sometimes non-gameplay videos become extremely popular too. Someone uploaded the PS3-Wii Mac commercial spoof to gametrailers, and they got hundreds of thousands of views out of it, which would make for several thousand GTD. Sure, it might seem really... lazy... and cheap to simply upload videos you didn't create, but the mods at GT certainly don't have a problem with it, and videos recycled from other websites often garner lots of views... so... it might be worth trying.

you stopped, timmylamb. Why did you stop? :(
>_>
Really though, is there anyone else? Even if you're already a member of gametrailers, you could just add me to your friend list so we could give each other thumb ratings. Please? ;_;
