As for the prices and selection you guys are both correct to an extent. If you read some of the (not recently updated) website. You'll see I'm all but pulling the plug on eBay. I can't stand them, I currently have about 150 items listed but had over 700 a couple months ago. Soon that number will sit at about 20-30. Anyway, I have been shifting all inventory over to the Trog Store and have to say that GoDaddys Shopping Cart while very good, does not promote quick listing of hundreds of products like eBay listing does.
We are a two man team (click on the cave at the home page for a nice photo!) and have our inventory split, with me (Erik) having most of the SEGA and Rob having the Nintendo inventory. We have also both been having to work much more in other jobs to survive and have been very slow recently in getting up inventory. And with me also being the only one currently learned in the ways of listing with our GoDaddy cart system (we both rocked at eBay listing) the SEGA and other items were the first to be listed. I have listed quite a bit of NES carts lately and Nintendo will dominate any upcoming listings.
As for the prices I tried to put everything lower than I had/have it on eBay. But again, listing hundreds of items I overlook things at times for sure. I have seen where I have two of the same products listed with different prices! But I try and keep it clean. When I listed the NES carts I did go over everything and brought down and fixed many prices, but I will revisit them often. Also, when you buy from me, you buy from me, I'm all about talking with you and working out deals, if you see something out of wack or want to get a discount on multiple purchase, talk to me! : ) - I'm also super fair on shipping.
We also try and keep cool items on the site. You may have notices we provide new 32X cables which are Gametrog only. I recently had a nice copy of Snatcher sell and other gems. The Action Replay is a good product also! Join gametrog on facebook if your into that stuff (had to for the pull away from eBay) I will list updates through there. I will also put up a CheapAssGamer coupon soon as a peace offering. I do those often with other forums, I'm just new to this one!
Anyway, Rob and I are both coming into a good spot and will be making much for frequent updates to the site and additions to the store we promise. We do this for fun and enjoy to company we keep so feel free to comment about the site as we both all ears!
