Gaming Display Shelves - Idea's Needed!

I am currently remodeling a room into a man cave aka office. I am looking for options for shelves to display games and collector's edition content.

Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking some sort of Glass Shelves with doors but not sure where to get them.

Any idea's CAG? :bouncy:

Is this a room that's going to permanently be a man cave? I ask, because one thing that's pretty sweet is to cut out sheetrock between some of the studs and make shelves that are recessed into the wall. You'll need to redo the sheetrock going into the wall or use wood or something, but they look awesome and you can vary the heights of them for a little bit more modern look.

Don't do too many, however, because you lose insulation in those spots.

You can order glass display cases online. That's probably your best bet for getting those: http://www.discountshowcases.com/?gclid=CPn3zcqjka0CFQleTAodJkbBzw

I've always wanted to have custom shelves that go all the way around the room about a foot below the ceiling.

I thought it would be like a gigantic gaming halo for the entire room.

I'm thinking about doing this to my son's and daughter's rooms and installing model train tracks with "tunnels" going through each of their rooms for the train to travel along. I'd hook everything into the lightswitch panel... I don't know... I've been kicking it around for a while now...
