GBA SP Trade-in

Hey all, sorry if there's anoter topic like this, but I couldn't find anything like it in a search. I have a GBA SP that's not quite working right, no reciept, no box, just an ac adapter. Does anyone know of any stores that I can say I bought it there or got it as a gift and trade it in to get another one? I believe it's a Toys R Us special deal bundle cause it doesn't have a serial number. I think if I went to WalMart and said I got it as a gift and/or caused enough of a fuss I'd be able to get another one. Any ideas?

Sorry about that, I'll keep it in mind.

Anyhow I went to EB and since I'm there all the time the dude gave me full price and just defected it out. Traded a few other games in and got a new DS at pre-played price.

I'll be more cautious. Thanks for the heads up.
