Gears of War 2 RC Tanks $9.99 @ Best Buy! B&M YMMV!

Hey guys,

This is my first post, but I've been a long time lurker. I was at my local Best Buy in Glen Burnie, MD and came across a stack of Centaur Tanks, the Gears of War 2 LE Bonus item, in a bin discounted to $9.99! Don't know if all Best Buys have lowered the price from $29.99 or not, but it's not available online...

The BBY near my folks' house literally lined the entire bottom shelf of the 360 games row with these. There must have been at least 50 of them... if they hit 99 cents like those Ninja Gaiden 2 wall stickers (and I get the feeling that $9.99 isn't going to be their lowest price), I'm going to pick up 5-6 of these, chop off that ridiculous remote control part, and make a crazy display for my desk at work.

I might have to go take a look and see if they still have any left.
 
I hope they drop to a penny like other promo items but I don't know how long it will take. I have been watching that plush Horton from the Dr. Seuss movie, waiting for it to drop to a penny and it has been $9.99 for 9 months.
 
Yeah, the Best Buy in Puyallup,WA has a huge stack of these still.
Grabbed one for free when I picked up the LE Gears 2 about a week ago
$9.99 isn't too bad, but if it drops to a penny like other promos have, I'll have to grab a crap load of them lol
 
San Jose Curtner BB has them for 10 bucks. Not worth it IMO. Got one of these when it was released. Played with it once, put it back in the box.

I seriously doubt that it is capable of running that over.

This RC tank is a POS. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool next to my GOW figures but as a RC tank, this thing blows hard!

If it goes penny, then by all means. Otherwise save your $9.99!
 
Is it possible to check the B&M availability of this online first? Wouldn't wanna make a wasted trip down to BestBuy for nothing.
 
I checked it out while shopping for a vaccum cleaner for my gf and wasnt too impressed by it, so I decided to pass. Thanks OP.
 
My local Best Buy had six of these tanks tagged at $29.99. I brought one over to the price checker and it came up not found. I was wondering if anyone knew about a price drop on these?
