Because it's the funnest of the three gametypes. You have to get up close instead of taking them out from afar with bullets. Assassination is alright, but it's no execution.

your sentiment is objective.
 
Because in execution, teammates have a better chance of being revived, plus, the opponents run a greater risk having to actually run all the way towards the downed player and stomp them. It's tougher, riskier, and longer than normal matches.
 
Damn, I'd love to hit this up but it looks like i'm a little late.

If theres any dropouts or soemthing let me know, I'd be happy to take someones spot =D
 
I'm vain, but not to the point that my team should be called Team Matt. We need a name. I'm fine with Ultimate being in it though. :)

Also, are the maps the custom cycle starts with the best for a tournament?

So when it says 3 sets and 3 rounds that means first to win 3 rounds on a map wins and then is it best of 3 of those or first to 3 so a set of up to 5 different maps?
 
IF there are enough people who want in on the tourny and came too late, I guess I could start up a "losers missed out" tourny. PM me if you want in, so that way I know how many people are intrested. If enough are intrested, ill make one.

First to win 3 separate sets of 3 round games (maps). If each team wins to games (maps) it could go to 5 total games (maps), yeah.

Example of winning sets -

Team A wins 3 rounds while Team B was not able to win even one round. That's one set win.

Next map loads up....

This time, Team A secures 2 rounds and Team B comes back to take the next 3 rounds. Team B wins this set.

The score is now Team A - 1 set, Team B - 1 set

The next map loads up...

So the team who first wins 3 sets wins the match. Yeah, this is a maximum of up to 5 maps like Trakan said.

An easier way to say this is...first team to win 3 maps.

This is not a sanctioned or prize tournament so new players are always welcome to join. However, we have closed the team rosters so no more new teams. I recommend putting as many CAG members on your XBL friends list. Go back to the first page of this thread and get the XBL tags on first post. Teams are always looking for backups because not everyone can be online every night to play.

Kane, Mex, Bobo, and myself could form a team? Then Team AIDS won't have to have a bye the first round. If Kane wants to participate in this one anyhow. ;)

jeeze it's practically impossible to have a time when all 8 of us can play. I think this tourney might not even be able to go because of how hard it is to schedule

I'm sorry we couldn't get our games tonight Zewone, like I said one of our boys is having 360 troubles, but like I said in the PM we'll most likely get a stand-in player, or maybe have our other man play under my brother's XBL name. I can play Saturday, Sunday or Monday after 10:30 EST or Tuesday after 4 EST, LMK guys.

Monday or Tuesday would e the best for me, as I work on sunday and saturday.

I don't think he's even accepted my fr from about 4-5 days ago, you, me, and elsnow have been on a couple times, nobody has an idea where he is?

i can be free any night i just need to know in advance so i don't go out instead

i also run my own business so really anytime works for me i'll just stop working :)

lets set a time for our match. we need to get it done. im free all day today, tomorrow afternoon/evening.
 
Why don't the two teams who need a replacement just pick one of the people who said they missed out in the last few pages? That seems like the easiest way to me and we could get our games in sooner.
 
The Grey Storm is looking to be online tonight after 11pm EST. I've PMed Team Easy's leader, hope to see everyone up tonight. I've confirmed that my team will all be up tonight.
