Gears of War CE only at Gamestop?

I was wondering if anyone else is running into problems with Gamestop where they only recieved the CE of Gears of War today. I'm starting to wonder if this is some stuff they pulled on purpose in order to get everyone to buy the CE instead of regular. I know I have the regular edition paid off, and I just want my game. Anyone else having similar problems?

Yeah they said the reg version wont arrive till tomorrow. Thieves.

Kinda the opposite of my problem with Oblivion, where the CE of the game was two days late.

The PC version only, of course.

Update on my end: Just called my Gamestop and they said if you preordered the normal version and it doesn't arrive til tomorrow they'll give 5 dollars off. YMMV obviously.

Apparently there was a problem with a FedEx plane in the midwest somewhere. Causing shipment delays for a lot of unlucky GoW buyers.

just buy it somewhere else, then take back the copy you get from gamestop. :]!
