This is just bullshit...I just placed the two local GameCrazy's on my boycott list as of 5:16pm central time, Nov 7, 2006. I called one in Maplewood, MN and asked when they would get it. He asked if I reserved it and I said "no". He then studdered and pause for like a millisecond and said, Tomorrow.
I didn't want to come to conclusions so I thought I would Roseville, MN to see if it is in fact here. Voila! They were honest about it and said only pre-reserves can pick it up today. That's bad business. You have to fill the prebooks first but if you obviously have leftover which for big hit games like this, you always order alot, why would you make us wait?

them. I am now an exclusive Gamestop (the particular one 4 miles away) shopper.
Edit: I have a GS reserve already with $51. But that's not the point.

Gamecrazy, I'm a selfish brat! LOL AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
How is it bad business to order only enough for preorders? Think about it for a second. GameCrazy is by no means the largest store in the country. They get what they can. They're saving up for PS3 and Wii orders. There were no reviews for Gears of War and the game was being based on hype alone. They don't want to over-order and have a situation like DOA Ultimate where they order 15 copies for a store with 2 preorders (my local store still has at least ten new copies of Rainbow Six: Lockdown and DOA Ultimate from over-ordering). More will come in tomorrow, and for god's sake, it's only 24 hours. Assuming each store had 35 preorders, and there's about 680-700 stores, that's over a million dollars to ship out a game that no one even knew if it'd sell. I mean, sure, a few people would pick it up, but if a review rolled out and they gave it a 4, the rest of the people would cancel their preorders. It could've been like Killzone where it was called a Halo killer and it ended up being bland.
And you could've made a difference by paying $5. So shut the

up and don't complain.
