[quote name='nintendokid']If you actually study the maps, there's usually just one route a tagger can take if he really just wants to rush you in the first 30 sec. Stop him twice and I guarantee you he'll stop tag rushing. You all know where each frag lies on each map so that's a no brainer.
If you prevent someone from tagging you within the first few seconds, they will be forced to take cover and use their guns instead or throw the grenades.
No one gets pissed of when they get tagged as the very last member of their team or if they get tagged 5 minutes into the game. But I think people are pissed of because they get tagged 30 seconds or so into the game. It makes sense; you join a game to play, not to get killed (duh). My advice, make it a cardinal rule to prevent the other team from getting sniper/bow/frags. You always want the bigger gun because that's how you win, right? Get the frags first but be the better man and don't tag them (unless you are in a money tournament and winning is priority over fun).
Do unto others before others do unto you

It still doesn't matter. My beef with tagging is not the tag rusghers, it's the mechanic of how tagging works. It's overpowered.
Tag range EXCEEDS shotgun gib and chainsaw suck range. That right there, in my opinion, is broken.
Not to mention that you can't "lower" a taggers grenade like you can a chainsawer. And I definitely think you should be able to do so. Both are guranteed insta-kill attacks, but only one has a reasonable defense.
