Geeks.com 3 Day Presidential Sale

I got one of those when it was free after rebate from Circuit City, and let me tell you its TERRIBLE. Honestly, using an old towel is more effective. It runs on a couple batteries, and you put the disc in and a motor spins (no shutoff, it spins til you take it out) and the "cleaner" is just 1 piece of suede-like material that wipes it. It only seems to work if the dirtiness was not more than fingerprints - as there's almost no pressure to wipe the disc. I put in a disc that was really dirty put it in and it didn't clean it entirely, so I sprayed more solution (the solution you get evaporates really fast btw) and left it in for a minute. Still didn't clean it off. So I just wiped it gently with an old soft towel which of course took 5 seconds.

Not worth it even if you can it free after rebate. Anybody want mine, you can have it.

those dance pads are of surprisingly good quality. i bought a couple a few months ago as a gift to a friend who was just getting into ddr, thinking they'd be of tolerable quality to last him long enough to decide if he likes ddr, but we've been playing on them ever since without problem. they've got durable material, thicker padding under the arrows (so you can tell when you're stepping correctly), and even little red lights that flash when you stand on them. they're not as good as a real thick pad, but they're the next best thing. i highly recommend getting one or two. i'm getting a couple for myself, just in case the ones i have now fail.
