By request, here is my miraculous plasma grenade throw.

For those who are familiar with Ascension, you'll know where that is. He was jumping diagonally away from me, full speed, when my blue spider connected (I was moving too). Rippon-style.

edit: some people aren't seeing the picture for some weird reason. here's a direct link: http://img22.exs.cx/img22/7489/plasma0yn.jpg

Woah, didn't notice that Jimmie changed from the "unfunny douchebag" to "the icon." Well deserved name change.

BTW, I still can't see the picture.

I think he did that change in the last couple of weeks.

And I think imageshack is calling you a liar, rock. :D I heard about the stick, might've even seen it, so, I know you're not fibbing.

Ok tonight i suggest we change it to matchmaking. Because for the past like 2 weeks, all we do is custom stuff, and its the same thing like everyday.

yeah, i wouldn't mind matchmaking. i'm cool with either i suppose. also, i guess my picture is fucked, and i don't feel like making a new one, so just trust me it was sweet.
ok, cool. maybe if we get enough quality players we can go and get our 10 in major clan match back
I'm game. I'll be getting on in a bit if anyone wants to do some Team Slayer or maybe Minor Clan.

that was a craptacular night all around id say. We got nothing done at all. Ugh, also, i figured im not the biggest fan of pandora tommorow. Ill play it, but i think ill stick with halo

Well, I guess I don't feel that bad about missing practice last night... I'll be there today for sure.

Sorry about missing practice I had to go to bed early for my physical training test. I busted up my left thumb as well and if the advil don't kick in right I may miss tonight as well
Sorry about missing practice I had to go to bed early for my physical training test. I busted up my left thumb as well and if the advil don't kick in right I may miss tonight as well
Practice tonight and messing up your thumb worse would be better how?

I doubt I could make it worse and it only hurts when i go left

No ghost whoring for you, then. Unless you want to circle the other base in Coag clockwise instead of counter-clockwise? :D

We got our 10 back in Major clan match and I finally hit 16 in team slayer. The possibility of retiring from TS is a very high probability.

Congrats on getting the 10 back and making it to 16. If you retire from TS, we'll have you be the first "number" we retire.

you're gonna stop playing team slayer just because you dont wanna lose the 16?

anyways last night my friend says he played matchmaking and it set him up with some really high ranking people. He said the team he played had like 2 guys ranked 18 and one of the guys instead of having a number for a rank, had a black filled in circle with a gold ring around the outside..... anybody know whats up with that?

oh and this kid on my friends like is a level 21 in major clan matches.. clan must be good.

I don't want to lose the 16 and I just don't feel like pushing towards a higher rank just to lose it. I just wanted the two horns. Also I'm starting to get real tired of all the cheaters, douchebags, and shit talkers in matchmaking.

And I've played against someone with black filled in cirle with a gold ring as well. His partner was a 43, maybe that is what a rank 50 looks like.
according to bungie's rank lists, the highest rank anyone is is a 41, so maybe those people have been booted or something
no rock, its their minor clan match rank. There are 3 teams ranked 50 and like 1 48 and 1 49

ah. i was just looking at the individual ones. yeah, we should shoot for a fourty-something

If we want our clan rank to be higher then we should drop the whole idea of Major Clan being our strongpoint. Major Clan matches are way too difficult to pull off winning streaks. Take a look at the leaderboards.

Rock, think about letting the elites make two rooms a night to focus only on minor clan matches. I'll put a lot of chips in the idea that our rank will skyrocket.

I think Ryan has the right idea, since I know that in the matches I'm in, 4 people in Team Slayer/Team Skirmish seem to go better thsn 8 people in BTB. Not sure about Major Clanmatch, I don't get to do any of those.

Here's the shit you gotta deal with when you play Major Clan Matches. Notice how Hex isn't in the clan anymore.

 what the fuck! Forget staying at 16, I need a level 50/Halo for my rank. Thats too awesome.

whoa, they did kick that hex guy out, but it still shows him on the clan member list. :whistle2:k

Here's what I posted in the other public forum:

It really seems like we have to trade being a kick ass clan in for being a fun clan to play with. It's bullshit. We should have stacked teams when we play custom games. You should get used to the people you're going to play with on a regualr basis. Having Arikado or Crymson be on different teams just hurts the clan as a whole. The top guys in the room during custom games should be on the same team. Unless we're just fu(kin around playing Spectres or some shit, that's how it should be. If we always have to make the teams even, nobody gains anything. We don't get in a groove with guys we should and we're forced to carry guys that just don't get any better no matter how much they play. We're watering down the overall effectiveness of the group as a whole just so people's feelings don't get hurt.

I actually like this idea becuase both teams will be getting better. The top guys learn each others strengths and the other team has to learn better teamwork and also ways to kill players that are better than them. I think its a win-win situation.

Let's see what the lists are and we'll take it from there.

This is exactly my point. When I'm ever on a team that doesn't include certain people there is very little talking. Especially on offense. This is not good for anybody. Nobody ever knows where anyone is or what they're going to do next. It's frustrating and annoying to say the least.

The "list" of who plays with whom doesn't need to be written. It's known.

And for those of us wondering what the "list" is, I'd still like to see it. I don't expect to, of course. For those that aren't 100% clued in.

i'm down with that. i've actually suggested it plenty of times when we're all together. i much prefer the skirmish playlists, and there is less rampant cheating. maybe we should hold off on major clan matches entirely until the next playlist update.

Won't be around tonight! I am making the pukes (pledges in my fraternity) scrub the baseboards at the fraternity house. Everyone have lots of fun!

Jugsta I know you said you're from KY. what school are you at? I was at UK a couple years ago and now I'm at EKU

so I was trying this out earlier and it seemed to work. What I did was park a ghost on the teleporter exit on Headlong. can you guys try it out in game and tell me your results with that?

it works. i've had it used against me a number of times.

So what happens when they do this? Can you not teleport, do you die, or do you get stuck and have to commit suicide to get out (like when the air vents get blocked with boxes)?
