Just ordered the Alienware M11x.

A few quality control issues have me worried, hope I get a good unit...
It'll be nice to be able to play some PC games again though.

Annnnnd I just ordered the Slim from the Dell deal.
Probably as good a deal as I was going to find during this system drought.

Wow, have spent way too much last two weeks.

I was tempted again but I don't really want to buy from Dell, I think I'll wait for a bundle or something.

That's correct, though I am getting the original one fixed and just have it as a secondary console/movie player for another room.

I was surprised to see that deal...very tempting, but I think I'll wait for the new Team ICO game to get another PS3. That way some good exclusives will have built up and gotten cheap by the time I get around to it (Heavy Rain, GOW3.)


crazy week here...spilled water on my macbook and it's getting fixed for a stupid amount of money because I stupidly forgot to buy AppleCare before the year anniversary of my purchase. luckily my law school shit is backed up to oblivion. Then I got sick. and I have a midterm tomorrow. and FFXIII today. and I'm quitting smoking. /complaining like a woman. but I'm well prepped for the midterm, have sudafed, a back up laptop, and nicotine gum, so it's all good.
 
I have this strange feeling I'm going to need a slim before the year is out. :(

Since Sigma 2 includes a lot of extras and other stuff that seemed to be DLC on the 360, does that mean some of those righteous Ryu costumes are also included?

The best part? The Cartman version of Poker Face is one of the tracks.

There is no way I could (or would) spend that much on video games these days though.

Was busy playing FFXIII, and this pack will be awesome. Monster and Bad Romance? Yes please!
 
Wish Lovegame was included, but am happily surprised at the inclusion of Monster so it's all good. My friends and I are going to be playing a lot of Rock Band for the next couple weeks. We're all huge Gaga fans XD

I had 2 day but my FF13 is waiting at home. Unplayable, but home.
Thanks nearby distribution center.

Also my Intel 80GB SSD arrived. Gonna put that into my current netbook to see how much I like it. I'll grab a bigger one for my new laptop if indeed the speed is crazy.

Just got Dragon Age in the mail today from GameFly and I really don't know if I should play it or not.. I should really be studying.

Well, here's my FFXIII drama:

Went to Target to get the game (FFXIII) this afternoon, about 3pm. Shelf was empty, so I asked a clerk. It was this fat dude with a perm and three-inch thick glasses. I thought for sure this lard-ass nerd could hook me up, but he laughed at me, spitting saliva into my face thru the huge gap in his front teeth. "Damn, we were sold out at 8am, noob! GTFO!" he said (or something like that). So, I kindly asked him when they were expecting their next shipment. Dude went to check, then he fucking disappeared. I waited for almost fifteen minutes before flagging down another employee. This chick was a 40-something mom who weighed more than my first car. She told me the lard-ass nerd dude just went on his lunch break. I just rolled my eyes and went to check the 360 shelf. Sure enough, the shelf was full of copies of FFXIII. So, I snagged up a copy of the 360 version. Haha, I don't own a 360. Now, sometime this week I'll have to go back and try and exchange it for the PS3 version. I feel like such a looser.
 
Metro 2033 was pushed back to next week? Next week is going to be crazy. But that does give me some time to play FFXIII.

...wouldn't it have been easier to go to another store and get it on PS3? Or is there some sort of Target deal?
 
Picked up FFXIII for PS3 today. It's the 1st PS3 game I've bought in a while. I will finish Mass Effect 2(getting close) before starting FF.

I wonder how the PS eye/ark combo and Natal will respond in low light situations? Based on the older eye toys, they always need that type of perfect lighting like how they have in the clip there. For me that's not possible..

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is pretty amazing. Still haven't touched singleplayer yet, but multiplayer is frantic fun.
