Dude, friends and I played the SHIT out of Puzzle Fighter on PS1. Get home from school, fire that shit up, 3 rounds out of 5, bam, it's 10 PM.

Shit was intense.
Hell yeah. So many hours.
What the HD version is missing that I loved in the PSX one is the challenge mode where you beat all the characters to unlock rewards like costumes, music, art, etc.

In my opinion, it's the best head to head puzzle game ever made.
Neither of us had. I only had tried the demo quick... I never even tried it when you let me borrow it.
Ah, it's great, especially two player. We should play online.
Actually, IIRC the motion control requires the PS eye.
That's correct.
There's also a 'nunchuck' controller for the wand. Pretty much goes hand in hand with the Wii setup, just a tad more advanced probably.

fucking disgusting.
Went out to eat, gave some random bar and grill a try, and halfway into the meal, a roach just starts strutting across the counter.
I can't even say how long it's been since I've seen one.
Clash of Heroes coming to PSN/XBLA!!!!

Upgraded port of one the best DS games out there.

Oh crap, online co-op too......!
Will it translate well since it makes great use of the both screens? I could see them maybe turning it sideways and making it like a PvZ-style perspective.

Challenge modes were sweet. Too bad the HDR version doesn't have them. We all got hooked again when the HDR version hit. :)

And I'd say it's a toss up between Puzzle Fighter and Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon/Pokemon Puzzle League as for the best head to head puzzle game, specifically Pokemon Puzzle League. We also got hooked like crack addicts on that game. I'd always rock Team Rocket. WEEZING!!

Gross. That's about as nasty as McDonald's Filet O' Fish. :puke:
As much as people are enjoying FFXIII right now, I've been slwoly watching Resonance of Fate stuff over the past few months and I think the GT Preview vid finally has me sold.

It seems like an RPG I might enjoy. I hope so.
Too bad it's a Tri-Ace game....

I loved the first Valkyrie profile, but all cred was diminished with lymle.
Lymle is the embodiment with everything wrong with almost all Tri-Ace games now.

Valkyrie Profile 1 was good shit, their best game IMO. 2 was kinda meh. I'm not a fan of the 3 Star Oceans I have played. And Radiata is sitting here not being played.

I might give Star Ocean 4 International a chance someday, kayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Hmm, the PS3 Home update seems like a step in the right direction. My three big gripes of the service were: Load times, the lack of ability to just hop in and the creepy "realistic" graphics. They say they fixed two of those things. Doubt it though.

I liked VP1 a lot. That solidified Tri-Ace in my mind as a solid developer (not sure why.) Each game after has been a let down...VP2 had a cool battle system and the main character has a comically enormous ass, but otherwise, meh.

I was thinking of trying out Star Ocean 4, if I ever have a severe drought of games that included me being bored of my usual go-to games.

Same, good cheap game to pick up down the line.
http://www.onlive.com/special1

Be one of the first 25,000 and get three months free.
Then cancel because their actual pricing scheme is ridiculous.
lol OnLive lol

I don't think onlive will fail catastrophically based on that $14.95 price alone. It depends on how much the games are. Better be a "free section" too, as well as full service features like achievements, friends lists, and shit like that.

I used OnLive for about a month. It wasnt that bad, pretty awesome if you have a shit computer (which I don't though). I'd see it being worth it if it was 10-15 a month with unlimited game plays. Other then that no.

lol OnLive lol Don't hold your breath for any of that.

There is a friends list and the ability to watch what your friend is playing and share brag clips.
What do you mean by "unlimited plays"?
You do have to still buy and rent the games on top of the subscription fee.
Like Gamefly. And I'm aware there is a free for each game playing, thus why it is not worth it.
Let's see. . .my PC is pretty decent, my PS3 works, my 360 works. I don't need OnLive. (^_^)b
Ditto. With the exception of the PC part, I have all of the this gen systems so I really don't see me needin' OnLive.

But I am excited to see if it changes the gaming market any.
Yeah I got a good 2 years in XBL as well. Procrastinating putting in the codes though.
not bad :)
Damn, that looked easy. This is why you share with your GGT brothers and sisters. :nottalking:
i got caught up in the moment :whistle2:#

also i still have a $25 code for a year still lying around

since u can only stack 3 years i guess all the other codes i have are pity codes

GoWIII...35gigs.

GT5 will no doubt ship this year...lol.

Ah, so this one is mostly about PS Move. Fast, accurate.

They think Wii owners will migrate to PS3 for PS Move? Did they not see that most Wii owners don't even buy Wii software?

At least they are targeting hardcore gamers with better implemented motion control games, although it remains to be seen if they can actually do that with any kind of non-standard controller.

Hm, under $100 for the Move bundle...that's a decent start, but it still might be too much.

Eh, that first video wasn't too impressive to me. The bareknuckle fighting game looks the most promising so far.

Meh, wii sports rip off.
Wtf... you guys serious? 2 years of gold? My god, throw me some codes!
I need some, too, guys! :D

If anyone had some to spare that is...
Holy shit man. So what was the gist of what happened? They offered a Free Month of gold, but you could just constantly do it?
pretty much like previous ms points exploits

make random emails rinse and repeat
