No...just no...nononono. I'd rather listen to Lady gagoogoaga then ever play that again.
I don't blame you, but the game's story was excellent. It was pretty much all about one man's descent into madness after he loses everything. Plus the supporting cast was great. The scene with Furiae where she kills herself, fantastic. And the level design and music actually helped to illustrate it. With levels getting more fucked up and twisted while the music got more out of tune and discordant.

It's rare to have a main character like Caim in a game. He was a complete asshole and by the midpoint almost totally insane. That one level in the beginning where you have to kill child soldiers as they scream for help. As fucked as he was he honestly felt like one of the most real characters in a game. The rest of the characters were just as messed up. One was a chld molestor, another kills and eats children.
The more you're into a hobby, the more you can enjoy a wider array of content (both genre and quality wise).
Definitely.
I can't imagine Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine doing that in Raccon City. :|
That's because Raccoon City was blown up.
It wasn't when they first go there.
It might as well have been, that city had no tourist attractions whatsoever.

Nearing the end of Disc 2 of FF8. Looking back, I wish Seifer had more time as the game's main villain.

Play what you like, I always say. I don't disparage anyone for liking something I don't. In fact, I'm usually facinated by people finding enjoyment in things I thought were boring or otherwise a pain in the ass to play.

I think it's funny that Darknessbear considers himself spoiled on ME2 by the DLC. Wasn't he the one that was saying
"lol Shepard's dead, waiwait that's not a spoiler if you've been watching the trailers"
a few months ago?

says you. I can't be the only guy who would love to go Zombie hunting.

Bleh, I'm still pissed at Bioware telling us that. That would have been an awesome surprise if they kept that secret.

Haha, yea that sucked getting that spoiled. BUT
I assumed it was a choice, like if the events did not play out right the Normandy would be destroyed. Game over. I did not know it was always going to happen... so that kind of bums me out. It's ok though, Mega64 spoiled another thing for me ... so it is going well! :whistle2:#
He's just pining for the fjords.
Qué?
ME2 tonight!!
 I got it off Amazon so it comes tomorrow... and I have my interview tomorrow so I'll probably be playing it Wed...

I can't believe how luck I am... 4 days off the week Mass Effect 2 comes out.... except for the part where I work 3 days.

Anyone buying MANG this week?

I smell another Sony exclusive bomba!

Pumped for ME2 tomorrow!
Maybe tatsu vs cap and nmh2 also, cause i got xmas monies still. And the TRU dealish.

I'm actually going to work in about an hour to get ready for the midnight release. I'm going to be getting those people out there ASAP, so I can get home and begin the game.
Beat Bayonetta. Amazing game, I think Jeanne was my favorite character in the whole thing!
I can't wait to unlock her!
Next thing I gotta do is beat it on Normal, but I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon with ME2 coming out tomorrow.
I just finished it on Normal today. Game just got more and more ridiculous.

I would definitely like to do back and play through it again, or at the very least replay the chapters that I did poorly in. Fantastic combat system, and the difficulty was near perfect (insta death QTEs not withstanding).

I wish it were exclusive to the 360 so I could read, "It's not that bad, I'm having lots of fun with it! etc. etc. etc."

So true.
I couldn't do that honestly.
I like playing broken games, little games, games with not much other than heart or charm going for them.

Playing the cream of the crop only is akin to buying a 'greatest hits' CD to me.
i do have kind of a thing for playing bad games on emulators (Action 52 is incredible), but that's every once in a while. also, I rented a Musou game once...worst day of my life.

I don't have too much interest in MAG, but I hope it does well for itself.

I tend to hope that games that try to do something different than most console games succeed.
Plus I'm not Jer.

Well - I already got a few things spoiled... so I'm just going on total internet shutout. Until Wed. Lol... see ya later!

Wait, I'm not gone yet and I could use some help first!... I have this # from XboxSupport that he said I can track my package (my HDD transfer cable) with. He said it is coming through UPS but it is not a UPS tracking number. Does anyone know where on the Xbox site I can put this 10 digit #?

wow - defensive much? Sean would give me shit for anything I say, though. I was playing Amped 3 in an effort to make it through my backlog alphabetically. Thus, Assassin's Creed 2 now. Amped is on Amazon. It's not a bad game though. Worth $7 or whatever GS charges, if you're looking for B2G1 free.

I hope MANG does well, I hope every game does well.

It's just that I hear zero people talking about it and it does have the smell of a Socom Confrontation/LBP/GT5 Prologue about it. I wanted to try the beta but didn't have the patience to download it. Maybe I'll try it someday. I dunno. I don't like realistic-ish online FPS games. And a large amount of players always seemed like it was a bad idea in any game. Plus Dual Shock+FPS = no thanks.

But what was I saying? Xbox rules, right? Or something? I wasn't really paying attention.

The list of changes in MAG from the beta to the final product is pretty nice

Damn, you're right

I'll never be able to pick up chicks with my gamercard now! fuck!

What's your problem with me? Does it make you feel better to pick on every little thing you can find with me?

I responded to anyone in this thread like you do to me it'd be over. I dearly apologize that I so clearly offended you so personally with my opinion.

I'd rather be playing Amped 3 for the price of free than Dark Void for whatever you paid for it. yeesh.

I thought you had mentioned that.. oops. And the darksiders logo sorta looks like the dark void helmet? I dunno. I apologize, it was a smartass thing to say anyway.

Look, whatever problem you've got with me, let's squash it. I'm sick of reading your snide shit every time I post in this thread. If I rub you the wrong way, let me know how and I'll quit doing it.
I've played Dark Void?
Why would you do such an awful thing?

:whistle2:(

Don't click on my gamercard.
*retracts hand and punches JerBear in the stomach*
Trolling for a response, then? hm.

Anyway, I hope I can get a ME2 Limited Edition tomorrow. Best Buy pre-orders probably don't mean much, it's probably first come first served still. I'm not sure about TvC or NMH2 though. Smart thing would be to gamefly them to try em.

Didn't those last two break 1 million?

Just looked it up, GT5P is almost 4 million, LBP a lot less. I guess you weren't talking sales-wise, though.

Also, Socom I think was the most played online game for PS3 until MW2/U2 rolled around.
It still has a really dedicated community as does LBP. I expect the Socom crowd to jump to the Zipper developed MAG as well.

Maybe he didn't mean quality-wise either.
