It's great. been playing it tonight. it's like NMH1 on crack and minus the pointless overworld. I got sucked into mini-games, playing with Jeanne, and playing the shmup for a couple hours before even playing the first mission!
 
It's okay, I mean sure the graphics look fine from the trailers I've seen, but graphics != gameplay. I feel like it would have been better on the Wii. Sure, the graphics may not be as good (although they probably would be), but it would be more funner due to the motion controls.
 
I only have an hour before I go pick up me2 and I don't know how to kill the time! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Edit: I got it! CE, too!! WOOOOOO!!!!

I've got NMH2, Fallout 3 DLC, and a slew of other games to play (and little time to play them.) I should wait for the price drop...

Hence my "gears of uncharted 2" comment. :)

It's a lot like they took the main gameplay of uncharted/gears combat and mixed it with very very stripped down RPG elements... it's hard to believe it's the same series. I don't dig the story though... I like the first game better there.

Let me know how your Tali romance works out... I still don't buy that it's possible, but hey, who knows...

Edit: whoa, you've been playing on normal for 12 hours with an import save and you're only level 6? that can't be right... unless you're ridiculously committed to mining resources from random planets...

Yes. Was very lame since my main Shepard was female.

Still, it gives me another reason to play the first game over as a male on PC. :p

Other than the transforming thing, Thexder Neo isn't very good. Unless they really revamp the controls and improve the weapons, I'm not interested.

Agreed, after watching a Quick Look of the PSP game I have no interest in a PS3 version.
 
I just got an email from Gamestop about getting some special Pokemon by going to a store. I never really could bring myself to go into a store to do shit like that...

I just read that all of Ubisoft's new PC game will require you to always be connected to the internet in order to play them... I can't wait for the shitstorm.

I do need to play through ME1 again on PC so I can fully enjoy ME2 PC. In fact, I might do that this evening. Got a couple days before STO Headstart begins.

This weekend is Star Trek Online for sure. Just played about an hour worth of what's left of the beta during my lunch break--the space battles are a blast.

I'm ashamed to admit I got a chortle out of seeing the few hapless Klingons warp into Federation Space as part of a "GM Event" only to be annihilated by all the Fed ships already waiting in the area.
 
I'm actually surprised it took this long for a MH game to go to a console with a real online network.

The WOT is WOT does LP2 and Xbox Live Network have anything to do with it.

Besides, LP2 isn't even out yet... so unless you're basing that off the demo...

Yeah, it's boring to play single player Monster Hunter 2 or MHF. I've played PSP Ad Hoc w/my co-workers during lunch and it's cool.
 
Oy, the glowing reviews and impressions of ME2 have me dying to play it. Loved the first and it sounds like they fixed the few nitpicks I had with it.

I could never get into Bioware either. Mainly because I despise AI controlled teammates. Secondarily because I almost never play hack n'slash, action rpg or shooter/rpg.

Us _MKs gotta stick together.
