Really? I got the level 50 rich character bonus and was out of credits after one shopping trip on Omega. Did a few missions, did more shopping and ran out again.

Hopefully I'll get built up as I do intend to do every sidequest and always look for all the safes, save before hacking something so if I fail I can reload and do it again (despite the slow loads).
The N7 missions net you 7500 a piece at least. Doing a few of those I got rich pretty quickly.

I'm a bit worried about ME3... they are going to have a lot of decisions to keep track of.

I've decided to cancel my Dante's Inferno pre-order. Thanks to some figure pre-orders being pushed into next month I have to cut back on spending. And after I finish this new game plus I'll go make a new Shepard in ME and just do the sidequest that impact ME2.

Kill the universe in the first 5 min. problem solved.

Oh, I forgot my forgot to ask this but am I the only annoyed by the fact Bioware had to tell what happened in the first 10 minutes of ME2? If I didn't know about it beforehand I would be shocked...

I'm with Rei, I never had a real problem with money (outside of needing an extra couple thousand credits in one instance). I had a problem with the elements a little more, though. I had to really search to finish up the last two of the upgrades I had (Element Zero is kinda hard to find).

I was totally unspoiled on ME2's beginning other than
Shepard being assumed dead, though I had no idea how it happened so the OH SHIT THE NORMANDY stuff shocked me.

I was exactly the opposite.

Had read about the Normandy crash, but nothing about Shepard being assumed dead etc.

Yeah, I think my problem is I'm still very early into the game and probably shouldn't have bought a couple 50,000 upgrades so early. One was heavy weapon ammo--that I don't even know what to do with yet. Other was the upgrade to ships scanner--was desperate for anything to speed that up.

Especially on a new game+ element zero isn't really an issue. I had more than enough to cover everything. Money does become a problem, when you're trying to buy the final biotic upgrades or whatever and they cost 75000 a pop... Platinum and Palladium are definitely the two biggest pains in the ass as far as resources go in my book.

I enjoy the scanning too. I wouldn't do it for an hour straight, but I will do a few planets at a time. It's not the best ever, but it's better than driving that fucking mako.

I too had a technical glitch, a volus was stuck in the ground and then next shot he was back on his feet.. no game is perfect.

TvC is really really fun too. I need to learn how to play it though. I feel kinda button mashy as is.

Yes, I put in Too Human. It's okay. I will probably play it during podcasts someday.
What the fuck is wrong with you? You like sitting there holding the trigger and the analog trying to find mineral deposits so you can get your necessary upgrades? I'd almost swap the stupid scanning mechanic for having to drive the mako.

It kind of bugs me that nobody seems to care about the flaws in ME2. :|
Interestingly enough, I enjoyed it up until I found the 5 optional missions so I could get that achievement. Now I really don't want to scan anymore. It's so slow...

Going into all the stores and demanding a discount is a highlight of my mass effect 2 playthrough so far.

Especially going out into the hallway and making a scene.. wow.

"oh so I'm a second class citizen am I? well let me just announce that to everybody..."

and decking the reporter is just lulz

I loved that one.

Anyway, just finished my first play through. Renegade, female vanguard, 35 hours. I like how by the end my Shepard looked like the Terminator or something XD

Started my second as a male infilitrator, and going to be paragon.

I actually can't stand the way that you start to look after becoming Renegade. I just finished up my Female Shep's ME1 playthrough and I imported her and the first thing I noticed was how bad that looked on her very pretty face. Also, our girl Shep's look a lot alike, Rei. Mine's just extremely pale.

Also, the long service perk and the perk that you can pick from your last game are awesome! I ended up picking the Shredder ammo because it is my favorite out of all the ammo types this time around. I'm glad they're unlocked from the achievements and not the memory. It's nice to have the ability to pick one of the many powers or ammo types when importing a newer character.

Morning GGT, I did beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 yesterday. IMO, the story wasn't that great, but the gameplay was tons of fun. I wish I could do some team missions, but been a while since anyone I knew played it. I felt a bit weird paying $60 for the game on release, but it was worth it.

I'll play something today because I'm snowed in, not sure yet. Probably inFAMOUS since I need to invest more time into it, but I feel a tad sick this weekend (have a cold). Its a little easier for me to play games now for longer periods since I'm not getting headaches after a short time (it was due to vision problems, but just got it corrected a few days ago).

I'm play through Mass Effect 1 and I believe I'm getting towards the end of the game, They really start piling on the decisions towards the end of the game!
Choosing between teammates to save, not killing Wrex/killing Wrex.
I would assume there might be a few more to come...

Actually there's quite a few decisions that are present in side missions in ME1 (that have ramifications in ME2), and I mean A LOT. If you're going by just main story you probably have 2-3 choices left.

Sweet! :D I was not too sure how much of the stuff I did in the 1st would carry over to the 2nd. I have the 2nd game ready to go, I just can't stop playing the 1st game. I love it!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is baby mode Ninja Gaiden.

The xbox one isn't much better with the projectile spam. It's just not as good a game as the first.

Played a lot of ME2 last night. Over 16 hours into it now. Absolutely loving it.

The scanning gets old, and I did a lot last night so I have over 200k iridium and well over 100K of palladium and platinum even after a good bit of upgrading. I was trying to just scan the hell out of every planet in each solar system I went to for a mission.
Making challenge rooms mandatory to pad game length?

fuck you Darksiders!

:bomb:
Did you do any of the alfheims in Bayonetta?

Well, I think i'm done with Modern Warfare 2. put that shit on amazon. I got level 70 and never want to play the campaign again.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo is nice. I wish they had a $15-20 downloadable version of just the multiplayer though. Like 1943. I loved that game.

Or maybe I should get MANG.. I dunno. BC2 demo seems pretty good..
Did you do any of the alfheims in Bayonetta?
Yeah, but they didn't have to be done to progress the 'story'

Nah I'm never buying MANG

gonna save my monies for SSF4. Got $50 in gamestop shame dollars.

Downloaded PSP games are tied to their account, correct?

I couldn't help but notice people selling PSPgos with games on Craigslist. Wouldnt they not be able to play those games if the account isn' linked?

Need to eat, finish up another hour or so of work, then get back to playing some ME2 for a couple hours.

I'm totally hooked, stayed up all night playing it last night, can't wait to get back to it in a bit.

What do you care? :D

Well, you can't have more than one account on a PSP, I know that. So lets say person A has a psp with games on it tied to an account. They sell the PSP to person B, and activate their account on another PSP. Person B obviously wouldnt have Person A's password, so they make a new account. All the games from the PSP are gone.

That's how I understand it. Kind of stinks for all those people on craigslist

Now, if Person A decided to give up the PSP cold turkey, then I guess it works.

Yup. That's how I understand it too.
You can't gameshare your PSP purchases with me, just your PSN ones.
If I try to load my PSP with your PSP games on that account, it will fail for one of us.
Sucks for people on craigslist -- but that's the risk of CL -- just like people selling banned/gutswapped 360s.

Gutswapped?

If you download your PSP games on your PS3, then transfer them to your PSP, you can still play them. You'd just have to deactivate an account on your PSP and add a new one.

Pretty much guaranteed 10 minutes after that someone buys PSPGo.

PSP go sucks

It'll be cool when it's hacked and $50, though.

I think I'm gonna get MANG on Gamefly and see how I like it. I was tempted to buy it tonight..

Lemme talk you out of it.

I bought it and I think it's sweet

Rei's Shepard looks like Saki from Onechanbara. Man, what a terrible game to compare with ME2, but I played it for two hours Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday. WTFFFFFFFF

I kinda like grinding for XP and doing the quests in that game. :p

EDIT: Sean, I would think those people downloaded their PSP games onto Media GO or something for PC so they have a backup. Or PS3 if they have that as well and the download history list.
Maybe I don't understand PSP activation so well... hmm.

Ironic that they went through all the effort of having Renegade decisions seem less "evil" and more "ends justify the means," but you still have to spend 50,000 Platinum to avoid looking like fucking Darth Maul by the end of the game.
