That was like... the one game I was looking forward to next year. Well, that and FFXIII if it comes out, but we know how good Square is these days.

Well, actually there is Yakuza 3.

So 1 game next year? That's pretty much in line with what one should expect of the system.
 
What kind of scores count as sub par?

Also Famitsu really isn't a great place to look for stuff like that, a lot of their reviews are definitely questionable.

Then again, reviews are only someone's opinion :whee:

Ah, I see, they think it's like all Level 5 rpgs.
Good enough for me. They seemed to hate Rogue Galaxy which I loved.

--is basically like every other Level 5 RPG.

I fail to see how "is basically like every other Level 5 RPG" is a bad thing.

Rogue Galaxy was incredibly badass.

And WKC has online co-op right?
 
I still haven't beaten the first Yakuza.

That, along with beating Bionic Commando and MGS4 (which I'm just going to restart) are my goals for the break.

My gaming goals are to finish the following:

Tomb Raider Underworld, Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Armored Core: For Answer, Sonic Unleashed, and maybe Valkyria Chronicles if I can bring myself to beat it.

Then to possibly start: Persona 4 and Silent Hill Homecoming.

Yup, up to 3 (or is it 4?) people.
The review is vague, hopefully someone can translate it better later.

There's a few people on GAF who have pre-ordered the import, curious as to what they think.

And people who post in the GGT should be thanking Level 5, they were a big part of creating the GGT.

Ya, it's true.

Though I did end up selling Rogue Galaxy. It was cool, but it went on for way longer than it should've. It was worth the time I put into it though.

I still have it, just haven't gotten around to beating it. I'm more than halfway through though I'm sure.


Those days were fun though, just going into random threads and talking about Rogue Galaxy. :lol:
 
My Rogue Galaxy is opened, but hasn't been played at all. Hmm, same with Tales of the Abyss, Grim Grimoire, Wild Arms 4, Xenosaga 3, etc. etc. etc.

I should just sell a bunch of them.

What about us Level 5 fanboys? I hope its more like DC2 and a lot less like Rogue Galaxy. In DC2 they smartly broke up the dungeons into small pieces, giving you little mini-goals for each one to break up the monotony. RG they took a step back and just made all looooooooooooooooooong dungeons again :wall:

 
I liked p3 a lot, but it had a lot of flaws. not controlling teammates in battle and tartarus being the boringest dungeon I've ever played in a game were two main ones.

Meh. I liked the story and characters better in 3. Plus I hate how now I can't go to the dungeon if I decide to do a social link.

I don't have break anymore since I'm not in school, but I'm thinking of just taking my PS2 and DS home this year. Play some Persona 4 and Mother 3.
 
I really do like Persona 3 a lot. It was a damn good game. But yeah, there were a couple definite issues with it. Still f'sho a game I'll keep around though.

My buddy came over and we just played the Left4Dead demo for a couple hours. Wow, graphics really take a crap in splitscreen mode.

I've pretty much sold him on a 360 though. L4D is something I'll pick up to play with him online. Hmm... but he'll want RE5 as well... what to do, what to do...
 
I mean that he'll want to play the 360 version.
And I know he won't buy two HD consoles.

Oh well, have to double dip sometime.
 
P4>P3 imo; characters, story, visual, sound, combat...

Wish I had some time to game. Going straight from full time school to full time work (fuckin economy, my dad got laid off) when everyone else has a few weeks off ass sucks balls. I managed to find time to go out drinking tonight though so that was pretty killer.

Dallow, your friend have any other console? In that regards...
Oh GGT... I know I've been saying for months I want a 360 but I just cant bring myself to buy one.. The only exclusive that interests me is Fable 2. Most of my friends never play online with their consoles so thats moot too... Pretty much all I have is you tards(and slightly better 3rd party games) if I get a 360.
 
I'm not dissing or anything but this thread needs to be renamed the Persona thread... I come in here everyday to see someone talking about it. Don't make me stop you though, move along. discuss.
 
So I was playing Persona 4 last night and.........damnit no I wasn't, I just wanted to fit in so badly.:cry:

I was actually playing Scene It:LCA, which actually isn't bad, worth the $15 I paid for it at Target.

Checked in online for my flight back to the UK, got my beloved Exit Row/Aisle seat, 7 hours PSP session is Go.
