You forgot Valkyria Chronicles. ;)
I was going to add it, but I realized it's still a game alot of people still remember. I focused more on stuff people might have forgotten about already.
Of all people I didn't expect Rei to say they couldn't get into P4 (so far). Surprising to me.
I didn't expect to feel that way >.< Hopefully zew is right, and it's about to get better.

It really does get better.
Kanji is one of my favorite characters so far, and he's good in dungeons, too. Although not so much during boss fights.
anyone agree or disagree with me?

While I agree with you for the most part, including a game you've never played before on that type of list is just so much evidence of your "trying to be different" gimmick. Stop it, man. :)

Crisis Core is awesome. Way better than I had expected.

I expected it to be good, but it ended up being great.
Played lots of Guitar Hero 3 tonight. Its awesome.
Pick up Rock Band as soon as possible.
Needs more games you've played yourself ReRo.
There's like 2 or 3 games on there you haven't tried.

Here's list of top 10 indie games of the year.
Damn, I missed most of these, some look really fun.

Wow, didn't notice there was more than one game.

The hell is wrong with you, Rolento?

Either that, or you don't get me. And I've stopped tying to be different years ago, it's your perception that's probably off.

I'll play Crisis Core when I have cash and can get it for roughly $20 new... till then there's alot of other good crap I need to play.

I've played about half of those... very good list that I hope most of you make a point to try.
Pick up Rock Band as soon as possible.
I wish.
However, Guitar Hero 3 was $59.99 with 2 Wireless Guitars, and I think Rock Band is $99.99 with all the wired stuff. Wires suck.

No, my perception is second to none.

You've never played a Yakuza game, yet you claim it should be on people's GOTY list and that the third Yakuza game will be awesome.

Why is that?

Survery says: "I'm trying to be different from the masses."
No, my perception is second to none.
I respect your perception, and even if it's second to none, that none can be entirely crazy.

Survery says: "I'm trying to be different from the masses."
 More like entirely honest and acknowledge of things outside of my reach.

then again we're both crazy so we're second to none.

Trine looks like it can be strong. I'm still waiting it out. Puzzle physics based games are starting to become the trend. at least it's a fun trend.
What made you come to the conclusion that Crisis Core, Space Invaders, and Yakuza 2 should be on that list?
Crisis Core: Based off my own playtime with the game, the views of people who usually don't play the genre who have completed it, and overall reception.

Yakuza 2: same as above except instead of playing it, I've watched way too much of it to really not know how it plays.

Space Invds: I have the demo, and have played it more than a few games I've bought. It's also come up in some discussions with friends at college.

I do hope to play one of the persona games (3 or 4) eventually since you praise it so much, but again, it's gotta wait
jsp speaks the truth! though GH in general is terrible now
I have to agree. once the mantel went from hamonix to neversoft, it's gone to crap.

It's not as bad as people say. Rock Band is obviously better, but GHWT still has a decent base selection, and the charting isn't nearly as bad as GHIII.

If RB wasn't around it wouldn't be bashed nearly as much as it is.

EDIT - what killed it for me is the interface for band play. They need to make it easier to see how you're doing.

I hate WT. With a passion. I cannot believe how un fun the drumming is in that game with the RB kit.

Just got my ass kicked in P4 by
Yukiko's inner demon thing
because I'm tired and making dumb choices, so I'm done gaming for the night.

the only good thing I was hoping for that both RB and GH existing was competitive song download prices, but not even now...

just die already. Neversoft, you killed THPS already, now GH, just stop making them please!

What pisses me off the most is that stupid, uninformed people will buy GH over RB based on the name alone. RB should be kicking GH's ass in numbers.

I am glad the DLC does well though.

GHWT sales are doing better than RB2?

reminds me... need to pick up RB1 for PS3 so I can copy the music... how many songs get copied over? it's like 43 or something if I remember...

I'm guessing the cheapest place to get it ATM is here on CAG... all my CCs no longer have copies.
Yes, because they're going to make sure their charts work great with their competitors instruments.

Just be happy they work at all.
See, that's the problem. They don't put the extra effort in to make shit like that happen. Just like how the quickplay song selection is shit, and how the charts still aren't on Rock Band level. If they would put some fucking effort into the game, it would be great.

50-something songs. Go rent the game and do it. That's the cheapest way.

World Tour isn't doing as well as 3 did, which is good, but it was outselling RB2 two to one.

I'm going to finish my stick tomorrow!

I hope everything works like it should. Cannot wait to get back to playing Super Turbo and use this new sanwa equipped beast!
Just rent it and copy it or something.
once the songs are copied from RB1 to RB2 you don't need the RB1 disc anymore?
Of course not.

How would you have RB1 and RB2 in the drive at the same time?
Well I thought it might be a Singstar like set up, where when you get ready to play the set of songs from RB1 you might have to swap discs. If you want both in the drive at the same time... it's gonna take one helluva mod to make that happen.

Good morning GGT.

Played a bit more P4, and that's about it. I need to jump back onto Chrono Cross, but I still haven't played it since the car ride home after X-mas.

Gonna install Deus Ex today and do some PC gaming, something I haven't done in awhile. I just wish the HDTP mod for it that has been in the works for years was ready for release. Just checked their website and its still very alive tho. I'm really looking forward to playing it again, since I don't think I've played it since 2001.

I never played Deus Ex 2, but from what I've heard I'm really not missing anything at all. Unless I like vomiting, which I don't.

Anyone know how the PS2 version of Deus Ex is? Any different/better/worse than the PC version?

How did you guys feel about Blue Dragon? I dont see why everyone hates on this game so much, but then again Im not that far in the game.

But what I have played, I loved.
