Thanks, I'll grab the GC version then. Despite the fact that my GC doesn't work (messed up video cable I think) I'll just wait until I eventually get a Wii
I have like 6000000 games to play anyway.

The problem with finding GC versions of great multiplatform games (Killer 7, BG&E, SoT, etc.) is that they're REALLY hard to find.

I just ordered it for GC. $6.99.
Also picked up a bunch of Beck CD's to complete my collection, and XIII for PS2 (only had PS2 and Xbox).
Should be at my house in a week.

The Beat Goes on is the best place in the Country for used cds/dvds/games.
Go NAO Canadians!

What are those other games King Broly? Those crazy shortforms confuse me.

Now they just have to verify all the stock (its a great system, you can order anything that ANY location has, and you can either have it shipped to your house or ship it to your nearest store!)

I think americans can get stuff too...all their stuff is 100% mint.

BG&E = Beyond Good and Evil
SoT = Prince of Persia Sands of Time

SoT has terrible audio on the GCN. It sounds like 32kbs MP3...horrible, even if you're a "I can't tell the difference b/t mp3 and CD" guy. Xbox version is the best (and its BC.)
Isn't the PC version the best?
Good point. 60fps etc.

I had a hard time mapping a controller with Two Thrones though...if that's how SoT is too, then that would be a problem. You have to use Xpadder.

I've been feeling like I need a website refresh.

What gaming related sites do you guys visit for news and like just general gaming related stuff like walkthroughs and stuff.

I'd like to share with my GGT buds.

I'm so happy...

My first industry award on my first project!

Shh! You shouldn't tell people! Its hard enough to find anything in this city. Have you been to the location on Upper James? I never knew they carried games.
Trade them in for Cash or Credit at The Beat Goes On™.
(store credit is 30% more than cash offer).
!!!

I might get Beyond Good and Evil, Sands of Time, and Crimson Skies at $7 a pop.

Man, Battlfield Bad Company has a fun single player too.. It's actually cleverly written, and very open. Very worthwhile $20 pickup if you're looking for that style of game.

I found TMNT on GBA for $10 at Wally World - It's an excellent old style beat em up.

Jesus Christmas, the dungeons in Eternal Sonata drag on and on and on. Just when the story started moving, I got stuck in a mirror. Now I have to walk through the ice mountain and magma-filled volcano that are in every single JRPG.

Started Metroid Prime 2. Much relief after the opening of MP3. I want to go to a planet and find a bunch of dead guys, not a bunch of space marines who talk my ear off.

Also got Castlevania 3 on the VC. Kick ass. Very impressive for a NES game.

Castlevania 3 is so sweet. Does the VC version have the Japanese version's soundtrack? It used a special chip and sounded much better than the US version's soundtrack. It came out later and had enhanced graphics too.
Oh....is Dead Space better than the demo? Because that was...not what I wanted...
Elaborating:

I don't know if I missed a run button, but the guy moves like fucking molasses shit out of an ape. Which would be cool, but it's like, yow, here's five monstery things. Shoot their limbs, oh shit, here's five more, you're out of ammo for half your guns now, oh shit, this gun has to charge and you get raped while charging, this shoots saw blades or something but still doesn't seem to be useful, fuck I'm dead, and the guy always looks hunched over like fucking Quasimodo.

Or something.

I played some Castlevania III on VC tonight. Man, I suck at this game. I've died on each of the 2 bosses I've faced. But it is the first time I've played the game.

I also got the final Smash Gates, Billboards and Super Jumps in Burnout Paradise, so that's pretty cool. I also got through Stage 2 of God Hand. A game I also suck at, but am still enjoying.

I'm guessing they didn't put the effort into splicing in the Japanese sound with the US rom. I wish it did though, would make the kick ass soundtrack even better.

Same experience, except I found the run button ;)

Also, I'm supposed to shoot the arms? What fun is that?

There's a run button, and honestly the game isn't that hard. Just aim for the legs, then when they hit the ground go for the arms.
You're supposed to hold the saws. Not shoot them. You sound like you're really bad at the game.
That's what I was trying to say in a slightly nicer way lol.
Did you do the Reilly's Rangers quest? Reilly should make it on your map when you find her.
Actually yes--to rephrase, I need to find the way over there. It's on my map, I just have to find an underground or overland route to it.

Mass Effect if you want to sink a lot of hours.

R&C and PoP are both shorter, but I enjoy R&C more.

Both are pretty easy too (yes, how you like your women).

Anyone know where I can get Scene It 360 for super cheap? Seems like it would be hella fun when I had friends over, but not worth more than 30 bucks.

You all will not believe what Mana Knight purchased today:

Mana Knight seems to be a fanboy of another console company too but never admitted it. ;)

Anyway, last night I played some R2 Co-op with CAGs and it was a lot of fun. Outside of that I've been playing MotorStorm: Pacific Rift. I'm mostly trying to convert my Bronze and Silver's to Gold right now, then I'll play more Rank 7 events. It's definitely getting pretty tough. I still need to play BioShock and Dead Space more. I'm still debating about keeping Halo 3. I'd love to keep it, but sometimes I think I'm better off putting $30 back in my pocket (because I just mostly play R2 co-op now, and I'm buying KZ2 on release, and I dunno if I'll be playing Halo 3 online (well, not until I get back on XBL Gold, which is still my plan anytime soon)). I also need to play some PSP games since I need to invest more time in Star Ocean: First Departure. I need to play Kingdom Hearts: CoM Remix since I haven't touched it since Christmas day (I just don't play PS2 very much).

Have Fable II coming from Goozex. That was kind of unexpected as I was 46th or so in line when I checked the other day.

Guess I'll play that after I get done with Shivering Isles.
