What's the next single player game I should commit to in between COD5 online/street fighter online/skate 2 everything?

I can:
Finish Yakuza. I think I'm well over half way done.

Finish GTA4, bout halfway done.

MGS4: I'd just be starting over. Only got through half of act 1.

God of War 2: From the start.

I forgot about how slow Frank could be. I don't think I ever beat that clown. Another annoying thing about Dead Rising was the convicts. I'm trying to rush to my next mission and they kept bugging me...

at least we can say that KZ2 has a great chacne to live up to or close to it's hype...unlike GTAIV and Gears 2. GTAIV was just so boring and not fun at all. The driving took a while to get used to but the missions werent fun and the online play was forgettable. I gave the game multiple chances while doing CAG nights on it but it just didnt stick to me. Luckily i got the SE for free. Now Gears 2, i was sad to see how it came out. I was soo hyped and pumped from it since i was a BIG fan of the first one, but damn. They took everything that was good from the first one and threw it out the window and gave me a floatly, slow, laggy, glitch-feast version and tried to rip off Halo 3's matchmaking. Least it was fun for the time i played with CAGs (mostly with js1)...though me and Chac never finished our futa convo, some jackasses kept interupting us

Oh damn, the memories come flooding back. I'd forgotten all about the convicts and the rescue missions and all that. Also, like all of the characters were ugly. Why do I want to rescue some ugly old wench? Oh, that's right, I don't. Go die in a ditch, whore.

Wow. This totally destroys a theory of mine: Chacrana doesn't play video games at all.

Man, I thought I had Chac figured out. He and dmaul were among the select group of videogamers who don't like any games at all. I can't remember ever reading them saying something positive about a game.

There was a hiccup where dmaul praised Oblivion, but I chalk that up to a mental lapse. ;)

I think so. I told my wife I think that what I might want for my B-day. It will be hard NOT to ask for SF IV instead because it comes out the day before my B-Day.
 
I just wonder why they didn't shoot that old bitch in the forehead in the beginning of Dead Rising when she was trying to recue her mutt.

I don't know nothin' 'bout nothin', man. I haven't played Gears 2. Or Halo 3, now that I think about it. I have Halo, but it's low down on my priority list. Well below Dragon Quest VIII.

EDIT: Urk. Wikipedia just informed me that futanari has nothing to do with Gears of War 2. So...yeah.

Off to go play some Yakuza and then bed for work in the morning. Maybe some MHF2 tomorrow.

I really really liked Dead Rising. First game I purchased for my 360 and probably my favorite exclusive.

I wish I could finish Yakuza, but the janky-ass controls for the
car shooting segment at the beginning of chapter 9. Really? The game was so good up until that point and it absolutely shit all over it self.

I'm really tempted to pick it up. IGN's video review made the game look awesome, regardless of budget. The original Tenchu was held back by the PS1 hardware, but it had some awesome ideas, and the soundtrack is still incredible (particularly the song that plays during the training mission.) We'll see.

I'm not letting it ruin the game for me. I had just been playing the game for like, 6 hours straight, and had already had to restart once or twice on other parts previous to that since getting gang raped by like, 8 guys at a time. I did that part and said "fuck this, I'm taking a Yakuza break".

I haven't gone back to play Yakuza since, but I'm sure the first time I try it, I'll knock it out. I really want to finish the game like I said, I was really getting into it.
 
It's nice to see that the Wii is getting some decent games again. Tenchu looks cool, HOTD:Overkill looks like some shooting goodness, The deadly creatures game got a good review on IGN also. All I know is I want this to come out here:

If you turn up the sensitivity, shit gets all kinds of fucked up. The game has shitty controls. and it sucks and it won't sell many copies. also, it's a halo rip off. I hope it breaks your PS3. I hope it breaks everybody's PS3. Especially

nah, but really, adjusting the sensitivity didn't help me in the 5 or so times I played the demo. Going from mouse control to this has been rough for me. There's an accelerating effect on the reticule that makes it more difficult to aim for me.

I can see what they were going for with making the gun take like half a second to start moving when you turn, but if they want to give it a sense of weight, why not have the gun swing a little to the side when you're done turning rather than make it look like there's input lag going on? Decent idea, but bad execution.

Exactly the problem and why sensitivity doesn't do shit. If its on high sensitivity, the thing simply slides away at light speed when it decides to finally move. actually turning down the sensitivity helps accuracy, but then you aim and turn even fucking slower. :lol:

Ooooh, that's what you're talking about... I usually have it on zoom when I aim so I don't notice it as much.
