New SF movie looks beyond awful. I'd rather watch the JCVD SF movie. At least that one is hilariously bad instead of just bad. Who knows though, maybe this new SF movie will dethrone it?
 
is that how theyre getting people in theatres to watch it....

id say after or near the end of SF the movie, ull see tons of people coming IN to watch the anime LOL

well duh capcom is gonna hire about 10 kids to play a utube video on their 17 inch laptop.

that way itll cover 100% of the theatres that actually paid to show this film:drool:

Well, I can't blame Kristen for taking the job in the new SF movie, even if it is a steaming pile. Asians will almost never get leading roles outside of Asia.

If there's a lot of T&A, then I will be willing to rent it. I did suffer through DOA to see Sarah Carlson, Jaime Pressley, and Holly Valance get half nekkid and sweaty.
 
Jaime Pressley is worth it.

Since I don't remember anybody else talking about here , what does everyone think about the rumor that Resident Evil 5 is going to be the "last" resident evil game in the current form , and that Resident Evil 6 is going to be a reboot?

I think it sucks balls that the last RE of its kind is going to be a mandatory co-op game. I was hoping for at least one more RE4 but I guess that won't happen.

Considering that most of the Resident Evil games have followed a buddy system of sorts , its kinda surprising that its taken this long to have a true co-op Resident Evil. As for one more like RE4 , who's to say that the reboot game(s) won't play like that?

What bothers me a bit about the thought of RE5 being the last , is that is it possible to RE5 to resolve everything left in the series? I mean , I'm kinda off on where the story is at , since I haven't played through RE4 yet , but it seemed like they still had a lot of story to resolve/expand upon.

It leaves me to wonder , when they say RE6 will reboot the series , are they going to reboot it the same as before and just clean up and improve the story , or is the series going to go somewhere totally different? I assume the later , since if they were going to do the former , they probably would've just kept remaking the older games after the first.

When I read 'reboot' I got the impression that they're going to revamp the gameplay like RE3 to RE4. I didn't even consider the story.

Since they've only really had two games in the series to follow the new control style , it seems kinda strange to make a big deal about "rebooting" it if that's all they meant. Then again it's kinda hard to know what to go on based off of a vague quote such as this:

Capcom's producer Jun Takeuchi mentioned that Biohazard 5 [Resident Evil 5] will be the last game of its kind in the series. Biohazard 6 [Resident Evil 6] will be a reboot of the series, although this does not suggest anything wrong with the current direction.

It could certainly go either way. The changing the gameplay thing does make a bit more sense though , following that they plan to keep the numbering for the games and not restart at 1.

So I just bought Braid this morning and I've just now finished it. And I've come to the conclusion that is completely okay. Definitely not worth $15, and at $10...just might be worth it. It doesn't have a lot of replay value, and I probably won't play it again. It's somewhat enjoyable, if not a little frustrating at times due to the precise nature of some of the puzzles. Overall...I'd give it a 7/10.
 
I'll eventually buy the SF and MGS Sackboy costumes. Just not in the "near" future. Meanwhile, I'm going to start Final Fantasy 9 for like the 100th time. Though I may be able to handle it this time around.
Create Fighting Warriors and putting my copy of FF9 on my psp. There's a message in the capital letters on the first three words
I just don't know how "legal" talking about putting my own games on it is looked upon.

And I'm very eager to try out the KZ2 demo tomorrow.

okay, SCIV just finished installing. Time to play and regret even getting it for free.
