I'm looking through Gamefly to fill up my Q of unreleased stuff and came upon a few interesting sequels for games nobody was really asking for: Two Worlds 2 and Kane & Lynch 2.

The Area 5 guys aren't doing live feeds of the press conferences, are they? I know they mentioned doing some live stuff, but I'm guessing it'll be Ustream-style, or whatever site they will use, live feeds.

Mirror's Edge 2 would be

I hope for a multiplayer "tag and chase" and race type game modes.

Weekend pickups:

GBA

Advance Wars
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
Astro Boy: Omega Factor (damn, so good,

I would love a Dead Space 2, but isn't that team working on Dante's Inferno right now? I wouldn't want a different team working on it.

Gonna listen to loveline then turn in for the night. I always get the pre-e3 jitters and excited about what's coming. Hope tomorrow doesn't disappoint!

I'm not sure. I'd definitely want the same team back.
Did you not have a GBA until recently that you haven't had Advanced Wars yet, dallow?
I used to play my friend's original GBA copy all the time in school.
I've just been on a GBA kick lately. I missed so much during that time I lost my interest in games and really only bought a few titles when I got my Japanese GBA in highschool. Missed a lot of mid-late PS2 era as well.

Even though I didn't play the first or even want to play it, Mirrors Edge 2 needs a sequel. It was headed in a very good direction, but the execution didn't turn out as good. A second chance is all it needs to shine IMHO.

Bionic Commando reminds me a lot of Wolverine, in that it's not great, but it is stupid fun.

I'm excited to get a look at Microsoft's motion controller.

Ahh. Some nice choices then. I have the AW games, Astro Boy, and Klonoa 2 and they're pretty good games. You should also check out Boktai, Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure if you're into DB and beat-'em-ups, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Super Monkey Ball Jr. if you can find them.

I wanted to get WW Twisted when it first came out but never got around to it.

Thanks, there were a couple of the adventure DBZ games on my "to buy" list but I'll add that one as well, I like the original saga.

Boktai is on there as well.
I'm mostly drawing on titles from this nice list:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=316510

But have also some that I've looked up like Bookworm.

Just spent half an hour with Twisted. Damn, I think it's the best WarioWare microgame "game" I've played yet.

Very, very small amount of the Dead Space team is working on Dante's Inferno. Dead Space 2 has been in production for a while. Sequels to Dead Space and Mirrors Edge were both confirmed a while back.

Rei/refused (or anyone else in the know) can you tell me what the difference is between Berserk Season 1 complete collection, Berserk TV Series Season 1 complete collection, and Berserk complete collection?

Also, some dude has Berserk TV Series season 1 complete collection on his tl for $20. Is it worth it?

Morning Mak, watched Merlins Mystical shop of Wonders last night, another good ep, some classic riffing, my favorite bit is the mean psychic basically calling the dude a moron. Another classic riff was the "remember believe in magic, or I'll kill you"

Games wise I played Shrek the Third for the nerd points, it's god-awful, even by crappy movie tie-in standards. Balanced that out with co-oping some RE5, which is a fantastic game.

Mak, you want the one that looks like this:

The video is cleaned up a bit, they fixed some glitches, and restored Stereo to the Japanese language track.

Berserk kicks ass! I have only seen the original series, are these episodes different than the original series? I just hated the abrupt ending of the original series.

I've been wanting to see that one again recently. The villian guy is dressed like a black bird right? And its like Renaissance Faire nonsense.

Ah cool. Thanks for the info.
Crysis 2 just got announced by EA for everything that is constantly connected to the internet.
Awesome.

I have wanted to play Crysis for a while, but my PC just can't handle it. So I will definitely be getting that for 360.

New Wipeout HD DLC coming! Sounds cool.

Taken from Joystiq:
PS3's downloadable antigrav racer, WipEout HD, is getting its first bit of DLC. Attendees at E3 will be able to try out "Fury," the first expansion pack for the game. Included in the upcoming pack are 8 new tracks, 13 new ships and 3 new game modes. A patch will also add new trophies, a "re-styled front-end" and improved multiplayer functionality.

One of the new modes being reintroduced to WipEout HD is the "Eliminator" mode, last seen in PSP's Pulse. This combat-centric mode gives favor to killing instead of racing. It's one of our favorite modes from WipEout Pulse, so we're glad to see it make a comeback.

In addition, the upcoming Fury DLC will also add "Zone Battle," a multiplayer twist on the classic "Zone" concept. In this new mode, players will be able to acquire zone pads and choose between a speed or health boost. Opponents will be able to drop zone barriers, a deadlier WipEout interpretation of Mario Kart's banana peel. Finally, the "Detonator" mode has players shooting at mines while trying to try through 14 different stages. We'll be giving you a full hands-on report on "Fury" later this week.

Quite the informed opinion for a game you didn't touch or want to touch.

I thought the same thing.

What a Mirror's Edge 2 needs is a better story, better pace, MUCH better level design, more variety so it doesn't get old as fast, and the devs need to figure out why the hell there are guns in the game.

Yeah.
Just in case anyone cares or was wondering .. I got hooked shortly after I posted this.
I thought you were playing it fairly long for a game you said weren't hooked on.

EA's putting serious support behind the Wii and DS now:
It’s all about fun, friendship, and charms, as the Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. today announced its new, original video game franchise for girls: CHARM GIRLS CLUB™. Girls will be immersed in the fabulous Charm Girls’ world where they collect sparkly, virtual charms as they complete challenges that are sassy, fun, and relevant to their world. EA will release four CHARM GIRLS CLUB titles this fall including CHARM GIRLS CLUB Pajama Party for the Wii™, and three titles for the Nintendo DS™: CHARM GIRLS CLUB My Perfect Prom, CHARM GIRLS CLUB My Fashion Mall and CHARM GIRLS CLUB My Fashion Show.
He's full of those stupid opinions, dallow. Get used to it. :]
Yeah, that made me go :whistle2:/

I also agree with you that the MS conference will probably be not that interesting.
Lots of multiplatform stuff and too few exclusives (Halo Reach? pass)
I do want to hear about the new Zune and it's gaming features.

I feel like a terrible person for passing my old Zune onto thekeybladewars. She freaking hates it.

I'm hoping that extra five minutes will show something awesome, but highly doubtful. I really hope its not some Beatles Rock Band garbage because 1) Too many rhythm games already out 2) The Beatles suuuuuuuck.

EDIT: @ FriskyTanuki - Goddamn. 1 minute ago from the web

I hear it's because of a Tony Hawk Ride exclusive, maybe timed or some extra content.
Tony Hawk and Paul McCartney will be there.

I hope nobody goes to a chat room. I wanna see all the latest news and the thoughts on it.

(stuck at work .. can't see chat rooms )

@frisky - yeah I'm hooked now. How far did you get? Have you lit up the entire first island yet?

I'll be posting all the nuggets here Mak.
Or maybe I'll go to lunch and read the liveblog on my phone... hmm.

30 more minutes!

Actually a little less than an hour. I'll just grab lunch now and play WarioWare Twisted in the cafeteria.
Thought it started at 12 cst.

I've actually had hands on time with it. I have nothing against how it plays, I just think the cohesiveness of how everything looked kind of fell apart, rally hurting the game.

I'm not even going to reply to that ReRo...

---

Damn GAF, so dead. Their site sucks whenever it gets slightly more traffic than normal.

I'll be following the Eurogamer liveblog, I like them and it auto-updates.

UStream (i think) should have an E3 live stream.

 @ dallow

I don't blame you for thinking that, but I have my reasons. Yeah the style is great, the cohesiveness just didn't work overall.

I'm watching on IGN since the quality isn't that bad, but have gamespot open just in case.
