:applause:

The Rules Of The Game is a great film.

Not sure what to start now...
Choices are:
-Fracture
-Far Cry Instincts/Predator
-Infinite Undisovery
-Infamous
-ICO
-Shadow Of The Colossus

Preferably the shortest/least difficult one :)
Infamous isn't the shortest, but it's the most fun IMO. ICO and Shadow of The Colossus are good and short though.
ICO and SotC are the two greatest games of all time, so yeah, you might want to play those.
I slightly disagree, but seeing as you're a huge huge huge fan of those games, then I agree you're right from your perspective.

but yeah, play ICO then SotC... damn good. :bouncy:
What other FPS games does Wii have actually? I can't really think of any other than Red Steel I guess, and to a lesser extent, MP3.
Looking through the MobyGames or GameFAQs databases should give an idea.
Notable ones:
Call of Duty: World at War
The Conduit
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Metroid Prime Trilogy (Releases in August)
Onslaught (Online co-op from Hudson for Wiiware)
Red Steel 2 (Set for Fall/Winter 2009)
Water Warfare (Also a WiiWare title from Hudson, focuses more on competition; only in EU and JP so far)

Not very notable:
007: Quantum of Solace
Brothers in Arms: Double Time
Call of Duty 3 (Some folks liked it. Really more of a test, since online was added in WaW)
Far Cry Vengeance
The History Channel: Battle for the Pacific
Medal of Honor Vanguard
Red Steel

I know it's short, but I heard it sucked pretty hard.
It's not great from what I hear but the Achievements can be gotten in one playthrough if you play it on hard. I recall hearing that the game is like 5-6 hours long(maybe longer on hard).

I was just thinking a must have feature for Dead Space 2 is co-op. The most fun I've ever had in co-op was Doom 3 and thats because there was nothing better than hearing my partner be all nervous and yell like a bitch when shit popped out and I think that would happen again with Dead Space 2.

/random thought

What i hear is CoD:WaW on Wii is quite good - same online setup as 360 just less players. I'd like to try that with IR controls.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 does it pretty good too. I enjoy the IR FPS controls, but I don't think I want every game to use it. It's more like a nice change of pace.

BOXLIFE is one of the greatest games I've played in a long time.
Damn I love my DSi.

Ah yes, I tend to tune out the Wii spinoffs of the HD shooters. Forgot about all of those.

This.

PiCTOBiTS rates a teeny bit higher for me though because I can play it for longer without getting a headache.

I didn't say forced co-op. I said like Doom 3, which if I remember correctly was single player or co-op. I don't ever want to play forced co-op. Nor do I ever want to guard/escort an NPC. Basically I want zero prolonged interaction with AI.

If you got it for 360, you could play it with me and hear me freak out every 5 seconds.
Co-op would be great (in the way you have suggested).
I wonder what would happen in a sequel:whistle2:k:whistle2:k:whistle2:k
ICO it is!
Woohoo!

...I'm actually running out of games to play. Going to finish up Resistance 2 and I have to finish Dead Space. But, I'm running low.

I need to get back to ICO. There's this part where I fall down a sewer cover but can't get back out and I don't see any way to open the doors. Don't tell me though because I want to figure it out myself.

I never played Ico, and I don't think I ever will. I want to play it, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get it. I picked up MadWorld for $30 today at Gamestop (a sealed copy, too), so I guess what's worth something :\

I don't think it should. Would probably take away from the experience. There's some games that should just stay single player.

Just got rid of mine, battery life was terrible, and all the features didn't pertain to me. The slightly bigger screen was nice, though.
I was stuck, but I looked up a guide that told me to push a crate. Who knew you could do that? I didn't :)
 That is the answer to every game ever made.

I agree with Sparta. Some games should just stick with the single player experience. Dead Space and Silent Hill are two good examples. I'd even add Resident Evil 5 to that list after the forced co-op of 5.
I think that a separate co-op game would be neat, although I do agree that it would be better as a single player game.
The only problem with those "extra" modes like online, separate co-op, etc, is that it ultimately takes up resources, time, money, etc from the actual game experience. Instead of them spending the extra energy at the main story campaign, they tend to worry about adding the tacked on options and hurry up the main game. Most online games these days suffer from that it seems.
Bioshock 2's MIGHT work, because they were smart, and used a separate team to develop it. Although, that fact might make or break the online play, depending on how they do at the end (I heard they used the people who made dark sector's online, which was shitty, so...). But regardless, as long as the Bioshock's 2 story was amazing like the first and not dumbed down to make room for unneeded bull, I could care less about how well the online is. If it IS good, then awesome. Going by history, it'll probably suck, but I hope it doesn't.
The worst feeling in the world is dying right next to the helicopter/truck/boat/plane as you try to make your escape in Left 4 Dead.
Haha, yeah, that does suck. I don't mind if one of my teammates make it at least and I die right before, but it sucks hardcore if all of you die right at the end, or if you're the only one alive and die.
Co-op doesn't hit that hard, unless you're on expert, but definitely on Versus.
I need to get back into L4D, I haven't played it in a long time.

Sucks worse to be right next to the escape vehicle and then get knocked way back. I've had a tank bat me into a crowd of zombies more than a few times, always on the boat level for some reason.

EDIT: Holy crap tornado a few towns over.

On the boat level I've had the tank knock me from the dock into the water multiple times. Once your in the water your essentially dead :/

Did anyone read the articles about why the PSP Go! (don't forget the exclamation mark!) is priced the way it is *because it can be*. Not gonna lie, that kinda burns me after being someone who has dropped the money on a BC PS3, which is priced the way it is because of the parts in it.

I will probably get a PSPGo when it drops to a more reasonable sub-$200 price. Pretty sure they'll end up making $199.99 PSPGo bundles w/DL games/movies included just like they do now somewhere down the line.

Point Lookout is ok so far. I miss having Fawkes as my wingmutant, though. :p

I saw that and it didn't really bother me since that has always been the case.

I think everything techy is priced that way, Sony is just the first company stupid enough to admit it. SCEE is like an ongoing lesson in how not to do PR.

Anyone playing 1 vs. 100?

I think the PSPGo looks stupid, and have ever since I saw it. Maybe if I play it, it will change my mind, but I think it looks crampy and cheap. I love the PSP 2k.

As much as I prefer physical media and dislike DRM, I think it'd be cool to have a UMD-less PSPGo since I won't have to worry about hauling all those freakin' discs w/me.

I think for trips where I need to travel light, it'd be great. I would take the UMDs and PSP-3000 when luggage is not an issue.

Right now, if I go somewhere and take the PSP, I just take what I can fit in my capdase soft case (4 or 5 discs max).

Speaking of which, I can't wait to try Blaz Blue remote play! One of those times I appreciate a multiplatform game more on PS3...

Actually thats my main reason for wanting a PSP Go. And I'm just running out of room to keep stuff. I also still have the first PSP. And this will be the first time I have ever gotten a new version of any handheld.

Just gotta decide if I want a black or white PSP Go...

Glad to see that there's more distance between the analogue stick and the user's thumb -- I never could get comfortable with the PSP Phat's configuration. Utilizing the regular buttons, though, could prove to be troublesome for long periods of time. Hopefully said controls are more for strategy games and less real-time fare.

To be honest, the Go seems to fix all my issues with my hands cramping all the time...

Monster Hunter might now be harder to play now though...

Been playing Unite... damn, I forgot how addicted I was to this till now. I miss testing my skills.
Doesn't the 3000 have something wrong with its screen?
I seem to recall some games look worse on a 3000. But I'm too lazy to double check.

I might have to get BlazBlu for my birthday. It looks slick.

I just don't know that I can really get into it? maybe.

Wii Sports Resort is the next game I'm real excited about.

There's zero reason to get a PSP go if you already know how to use your current PSP's full potential. You never have to have the UMDs with you anyway.
